Pretty good longevity on both.Cable just broke but I have been using it for 18mo+. I kept cable indoors between uses.Stake is still going. This has been in the ground the entire time60lb very high energy dog

I like how it stays in the ground tightly. I bought this a year ago and haven’t had one issue with it. Works well for my dog!

Went camping first time with my puppy and this was a perfect tool. Length was fitting to our set up at the site, color was visible and was very sturdy, especially when the pupp saw a squirrel and tried to run after it….. easy to use. Didn’t get rusty with all the mist and dirt and sun that whole weekend.

My only complaint is that it's hard to get in the groud but that's any of these types of stakes. Works great! Couldn't go camping without it!

Sturdy, and just why we needed!

I bought the 10 ft. cable with this stake. It was for my new Bichon puppy that only weighs 4 pounds. Once screwed fully into the ground it has been a very good stake. Before we screwed it in only halfway, this puppy pulled it up out of the ground. But now it is sturdy.

Works pretty well. I would get a longer one next time.

Perfect size/heft for 25 lb dog. Easy to connect to collar. Other end easy too. You can screw the base into dirt, but I just draped it over a post in the garden. Easy to move.
