They look great on the walls, don’t take a lot of room. I went from plug in swing arm sconces w lampshades to these - WOW what a difference!! So much sleeker!! No more lampshades gathering tons of dust!They come with a dimmer switch. I also have them on Kasa plugs. They stay to the dimmed level you last had it on (*most of the time!!* once in a while it’ll turn all the way up, but you can just use the dedicated remote that comes w it & change it back).I have them plugged in, not hard wired, & think they look great. I took a long time making this decision - & it was the right one!!*Note - it does come with its own remote for I/o & dimming. You *cannot* set the dimming up on your home lan. So it is another remote you need to keep track of for dimming. But I have mine on my home network, & can turn them on & off w that.

Mounted these over both sides of our king size bed. Mounted using the power cord and plug (did not hard wire). Easy installation and they look great and provide great light for reading in bed. Note that there is a dimming switch so you need to use dimmable led bulbs (which are not included). The entire lamp arm swivels a full 180° which is nice. The other swivel points only swivel one direction at each joint so not quite as flexible for positioning as I had hoped, however they work ok (only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5). Overall though very functional and they look great.

I have done a lot of this type of lamp so I know how to hang them and this one went smoothly too. It looks very nice on the wall alongside my recliner, I like it so far...I am concerned with the "swing arm" connected to the wall plate it swings left to right and I will be using it a lot to adjust over my chair when I sit to read.......but time will tell... if it holds up to the continual movement... I have bad eyes so I ordered this one because it has the longest arm(s) that I can move the light from the wall directly over my book..Seems good for the price and easy to install.

My wife reads a lot at night and wanted a nice reading light above our bed that is adjustable. This light was exactly what she needed and she has used it nightly since we purchased it. It was easy to install and the quality is very nice. It has a good solid feel to it and is not cheaply made. It works exactly as described and was well worth the money for how good the build quality is. I would highly recommend this item to someone who needs a good reading light that is adjustable. On a side note, something that I really liked about this light is that it has wingnuts on it that you can use to tighten the settings once you find a good position. If you don't like the position settings you don't need additional tools to change them and you can just adjust with the wingnuts.

We really like these light. You do need to get the right dimmable bulbs, otherwise the lights will flicker, but once we got those, the lights have been great. We like the look and we like the light… :-)

This was easy to install and came in good condition. I notice that when the lamp is not on its maximum brightness level, it can strobe slightly, which is annoying, so I just use it on its brightest level.

I used to have a desk lamp, which was not very practical. This lamp is easy to assemble and highly adjustable. I am impressed with the build quality and finish. The opaque lamp shade is great because, with the right lamp, one is able to focus the light on a wide/narrow area. On top of that, the dimming switch comes very handy.There are two things to consider: 1) To use a dimmable light bulb, and 2) To select a light bulb with the appropriate length in order to avoid the light source peeking out of the shade and straining one's eyes, or causing distraction. I am using a 75 Watt replacement reflector dimmable LED light that is slightly shorted than 4 inches [~10.0 centimetres].Overall, I am very satisfied with this lamp, and would recommend it to everyone who has a fixed desk, and seeks a minimalist, functional, and high-quality light source.

Had installed it and set. One day the arm of the light was broken off and the whole light stopped working. What a waste. Can’t rerun or get money back. No wonder it’s no longer available.

These worked out great, were easy to install and the range of dimming is perfect for use on either side of our sectional. Now we each have dimming lights we positioned for our needs. I don't know how well they would hold up to constant changing and tightening of the screws to move them, but if you "set it and forget it" they will rock and look great doing it.
