I installed this on my garage and it definitely looks real to me. I have had real alarm code boxes and this looks as good as it gets. It will definitely make the bad guy think twice about breaking into your house and or garage.

I've had this Blue Charm fake alarm keypad now for a couple weeks and so far so good. I installed it next to my front door like the sample pictures on Amazon show. It was super easy to install, so I had it finished in five minutes with two simple screws. Then it just does what it does: blink over and over again indicating that there is an “expensive high-tech security system” on this property.Will it stop Tom Cruise and his team of expert international spy/thieves? Probably not. But it will definitely scare away the other 99.9% of thieves that are just looking to steal anything they can pawn in one hour.I am ordering two more today. One for my garden shed and one for my back door.One more thing: I really like that this keypad does not require any wiring at all for power. Just install 4 AAA batteries that will last an amazingly long 2 years. One less thing to worry about. I set a Google calendar alert for 23 months from now to remind me to change the batteries. (By the way, I previously tried another similar keypad by a more well-known brand but the batteries only lasted 3 months max).

Needs a more modern look.
