Great headlights, slight flicker on first drive on subaru impreza, fans noiser than thicker models
Overall, these are great headlights! They are much brighter than the 12000LM model, however, you will notice the fan housing is much smaller on these than the 12000LM model which results in noise ffrom the fans that can be heard when putting your key in the ignition and also if the engine is idling at low rpm. I suspect this is due to the thinner design. Also, on a subaru impreza, on first takeoff while the computer performs a test on the VDC system, the lights also seem to flicker for a second, that did not occur on the 12000LM version.Besides that, they operate fine and are very bright! Great product!

Perfect fit for my 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport low-beam lights!
These Auxito M3S H11 bulbs are a perfect fit for my 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport low-beam lights; all I needed was a Phillips and a small flat screwdriver to remove some plastic retainer clips to gain access to the back of the headlight assembly (directions are in the owner's manual). The only glitch was when I removed the old bulb and the silicone seal stuck to the headlamp assembly, so I couldn't install the new bulb which has its own silicone seal. Once I pulled out the old seal the new bulb went right in.The new bulbs are significantly brighter and whiter than the old Philips H11-LL (Long Life) bulb; I'm impressed! I plan to replace the 9005 high-beam bulbs next.Note 1: The Auxito M3S H11 bulb is the same size as a traditional halogen H11 bulb, so it should fit in any car that takes an H11 bulb. But Auxito makes several other H11 bulbs that are brighter but have larger bases, so make sure you are getting the right model for your car. (The Auxito website has a vehicle selector tool, and Amazon does, too.)Note 2: Auxito lists these as "off-road" bulbs, maybe because they are so much brighter than the original bulbs; but I don't think they are any brighter than the LED lights that are standard on all new cars.Note 3: The Auxito website lists these bulbs for $63/pair before a 10% discount ($56.70 total), but I bought them on Amazon for $50/pair before a 20% coupon ($40 total). That's less expensive than Sylvania's brightest incandescent bulb!

Perfect light bulbs for night driving
Ford Ranger stock Halogen bulbs are not that good. I replaced mine with these LED bulbs and was pleasantly surprised with how bright they are. I have also not been flashed by oncoming traffic so I have to believe mine are pointed enough down to keep them out of the oncoming traffic eyes. At least two to three times brighter than stock bulbs. Easy to install if you look it over first. Passenger side bulb I installed the bulb then the wire connector. Drivers side no problem. My only issue was with removing the stock covers which has nothing to do with the bulbs. Covers were stuck on this truck and I really had to work on getting them to release. But the bulbs I would highly recommend.

Prius passenger low beams are very hard to install
The lights are great so far. Plenty bright. I apologize now to on coming drivers. My night vision is getting poorer and these help a lot. My complaint is not with these lights, but with Toyota's design and placement of the fixture on the passenger low beam side. It's very difficult unless you have very slender hands. If you're installing one, if the lamp fixture isn't turning with moderate pressure, back it out and reset it try again. It will turn with moderate pressure. I had to reset it 7 or 8 times with lots of cursing before it set in place. The space for the other lights is fine. The passenger low beam is very, very tight with sharp clamps and parts all around. Be careful.I'll post a long term review in a year or so. They better last at least that long.

Excellent Visibility but they do Flicker a bit.
Low beam replacement on a Chevy Avalanche. Installed quickly, fit perfectly. But a couple of concerns... They flicker. Not a lot, but it's there. Mostly during idling, or turn signals, or putting the window down - any additional drain on electrical system causes flickers. My initial reaction was that I wanted to return them, that flicker bugged me. But they're cheap enough, I might as well give them a chance. They are indeed bright, and a very white color temp. I was self conscious that they might be too bright and blind oncoming drivers, but my low beams are directed down and that didn't seem to be a problem. Performance actually exceeded expectations, excellent visibility and no noticeable flicker when cruising down the highway at night. Now I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place - order these bulbs as high beam replacements.
