Beautiful puppets, lovely size Mother Owl and perfect for retelling 'Owl Babies' (although the puppet baby owls are all the same size, unlike in the book). Baby owl puppets might pose a choking hazard for very little ones; they're perfect mouth size so supervise babies and toddlers. My Reception class (4 and 5 years old) absolutely loved them. If I could change one thing, it would be a way to allow any size of hand to flap the wings of Mother Owl. Even my adult hand span wasn't big enough to make her wings move which is a shame, because it would have added lots more movement to the puppet.

Excellent well designed toy and puppet combination. The three small owls are puppets too, with fold out wings as well. Adult wings unfold too. More photos by the puppet company showing full poseability would be great. I'm sure they would lead to more sales. Easy to manipulate. Great charcterful movement. This is outstanding! Love the quality of production. even down to the alignment of coloured detail from wings to body that make feathers stand out well.

I have always wanted a family of owls. Silent mercenaries that I can send out on clandestine, midnight missions. Guardians to circle above me as I walk home late at night to defend me and bring me small voles and mice when I'm feeling peckish. Even better therefore that this "family" comes with a fully mature female adult, ready to do my bidding, but also with three impressionable baby owls which I can raise and train to all manner of nefarious purposes (also a huge benefit that the mature female seems very willing to look after and feed them all, saving me time and effort!) The fact that I can stick my hand up inside them (ok, just a finger with the babies) is just a bonus for those cold nights... Totally awesome toys, my daughter loves them to bits. Great quality, and great for stories and playing. Inspires jealousy with other children too, which is like a free and unexpected bonus ;)

I was in two minds if to get this or not as the photos don’t do it justice. So glad I did it’s definitely worth the money, it’s so well made and bigger than I thought it would be. My preschool class are going to love it.

The product pictures don't do this justice - the owls are beautifully made, the small owlets pop out individually, with flappable wings, and mummy's big wings hold them all wrapped to her. A perfect accompaniment to the book Owl Babies, or just for playing on their own. A true gem. ☺️

My granddaughter was delighted and even fell asleep with her owl babies. Lovely puppet and toy.

I use the owls and babies for direct work and role play , with children I work with needing emotional support and my grandchildren love them .This is the third one I have bought .Highly recommend to play therapists and parents of children with additions needs and teachers in the schools .

My 4 year old grand daughter got this as her Christmas present from me. It was love at first cuddle. She couldn't be parted from it, day or night, for weeks. It's really well made, and it's got that desirable "snuggle feel" to it. The babies featured, in endless variations of character, in her made-up stories & scenarios. She wanted to know all about Tawny Owls when she got this doll, and was very reassured to know that the "real" bird is a Protected Species. If you intend to buy a doll for a 4YO, give this serious consideration

Die Püppchen sind absolut niedlich und der Blick der großen Eule ist in Natura auch noch schöner als auf dem Bild. Alles war gut verarbeitet und der Klettverschluss an den Flügeln hält gut. Die Beschenkte wollte die Eule gar nicht mehr loslassen.

Veramente bello! E molto più grande di quanto mi aspettassi...purtroppo al momento dell acquisto era disponibile poi improvvisamente non lo era piu e mi è arrivato con quasi tre settimane rispetto ai tempi stimati..purtoppo può capitare...solo che mi serviva per un compleanno...le tre stelle sono per questo altrimenti il prodotto in se ne merita dieci!

We got this as a gift to go along with the Owl Babies book. I thought the mom owl looked a little weird in the picture but in person, she’s adorable.
