Put simply it works. When it arrives it comes in a snazzy little black box well padded and with a small USB attachment cord. This does not include a wall socket converter as you can plug it pretty much into anything that has a USB port (any USB port 3.0 or not). It charges to full in about 15-20min max and the blue light on the side will turn off once completely charged. Once charged you can slide the safety up and hold down the button in an instant electrical current that lights things on fire. Yay fire! Who doesn't like fire right? Cause with this you'll be lighting everything on fire. Propane Stove? Check! Wood Stove? Check! Old tax returns that give you nightmares? Check! Works on BBQ's, propane, firestarters, and pretty much everything else I tried to light on fire. I've used it extensively after having to replace gas lighters which were not only a waste of money but environmentally retarded. I love that it has a bendable head for the BBQ and works well on candles (little tricky to line it up correctly). Overall would I buy it again? Sure would. I like the product a lot. It's quite... igniting. My one complaint is that the USB cable is pretty short. But not enough for me to dock a star.

 I had a problem with the button of the first one that I ordered, but the seller contacted me in 24 hours and offered a replacement. The second one was in perfect condition. Put Away Your Butane Candle, Bar B Q, etc Lighters. I wanted to try this lighter so I could stop going through butane lighters and butane. This does exactly what I had hoped. I have used it to light ...candles, fireplace starter paper, and BarBQ burners so far. It works every time. I like that it has a safety slide switch to keep from starting it accidently. Planning to buy a couple more to put in strategic locations at my home. The recharging feature is easy to use with a very common type connection. Can not go wrong.

I been looking for a lighter like this, this is was I wanted. I first tried it to light up my candle, it works fine. I like it so far. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Love the fact that no longer need to use gas and it’s safer for younger. Kids to handle. In addition it works well at outdoor environment as no longer worries about the wind. One more good thing about this lighter is that it has a bendable tube and can go odd spaces. Love it so far

This is a great product for lighting candles or other things that don't need an open flame. I wanted to buy this as an alternative to lighters which I only use to get the fireplace started, but unless you are lighting a fairly thin piece of wood it doesn't work well for that project. I will likely just end up using it for candles which is fine as these can be a pain to light with a traditional lighter. Our lighter did seem to have been opened before and might have been a returned unit but the customer service of amazon and the product company resolved my issue without any trouble at all.

I mostly got this for lighting up the burners on my sometimes-stubborn gas stove. This works perfectly. Quick zap in the gas zone and you're off and cooking. I like the little sliding safety cover that keeps the button from being accidentally depressed if you store this in a drawer or set it down carelessly. I would not describe the cover as child-proof though, it's way too easy to use. This makes it perfect for ADULT use, because it eliminates that frustrating struggle you go through with a standard butane BBQ lighter -- where you're trying to depress a ridiculously difficult lever with your thumb while you're trying to pull a stiff-as-hell trigger with your finger, probably resorting to a two-handed grapple before you succeed, and all while the gas is hissing and your blood is heating up... Might as well rub two sticks together! This lighter solved that problem. We also used it to light a fire in a backyard fire pit, and it works okay for that too. It took a little longer, zapping away at the edges of the paper under our kindling, but it does work in just a few seconds and was STILL way better than struggling with other outmoded options, IMHO.

I’ve used this lighter for about two months, and I still honestly prefer a cheap bic lighter. The top part swivels as promised, buttons work exactly as described, and the lighter does in fact recharge in a timely manner. The only problem is it just doesn’t light stuff well, and unfortunately that’s kind of the point of this product. You have to place the thing you want to light on fire directly between the two metal prongs where the electricity passes through. It can easily catch a piece of paper on fire, and the edge of a paper bag, but even cardboard can be hard to light. The battery life also lasts only about half what is advertised, but I guess for the short charge time, it’s still not bad. Works in a pinch, but my 99 cent lighter is still my go-to.

It never worked

Very cool lighters. My favorite use was during the Fourth of July. Lit fireworks with them all day, no more hot punks or open flame lighters for me.

I love these lighters - so much better for lighting several candles, a gas stove or camping cooker or grill, compared to the stupid plastic ones that always run empty and cannot...

I used this E-lighter for the 4th of July I already had one and bought 2 more I paid $25 for the first one I had and these are just as good for a lower price!

The 360 bending neck is nice and works well. Just a few little issues, some times it hold a charge better than others and depending on what or how you are using it, the charge...

This little guy is always having to be recharged. It's good for occasional use, but not for a serving job like I have.

I bought this product a month ago and it has stopped working. I am very upset. The electrical charge is only coming from one side, so it no longer creates a current.
