Thick!
If you have any leather or leather like fabric you need this in your life! The paint is a great match to most of the leather things I own. The paint is a nice thick and smooth texture and goes out nice!

a good start kit but not for people who really wants to repair leather
There are plenty color to choose from but in order to match the color you will really need to spend a lot of time so I won't recommend to try it. I end up just paint a big surface all over. Also, I didn't know we need to apply the acrylic finisher and it starts to crack again in a while. Anyhow, there is only one bottle of the acrylic finisher come with it but 16 bottles of different color. I wouldn't say we need a lot of finish paint bottles but 1 is just not enough. It's better to replace some bottles of similar color by the finisher. I like they come with some brushes which make this kit a really good starter kit and can put your hands on the project right away. One thing worth to mention is that they don't have strong smell of paint and the time to dry is a good speed. Also, it would be great if it can come with some instructions especially for the hobbyist like me.

fair beginner set
Picked up this set to touch up a few leather items. It does the job but I did have to youtube instructions becuz this product didnt come with instructions or any tutorial. So glad youtube exists. aside from no instructions I was able to touch up a few items nothing to large. Im guessing from the other reviews those people are more experienced with leather paints. this was my 1st time so I dont have anything to compare it too other than the fact that this product did the job for me.

Nice color coverage paints
These are a really nice set of acrylic, leather paints that seem to cover very well with little paint used. Although the paint jars are small, you don’t need that much paint to spread and cover over your item. All the colors seem very opaque except the highlighter yellow. You can see in my pictures that I used a few colors to give examples, however, the highlighter yellow was the one that did not cover very well. I am assuming this may look a lot nicer on white leather. But the coverage with the other colors does well.Once the paint dried I did test to see if there was any cracking when the leather was handled or even when I bent the leather. Glad to say that it wasn’t. The paint is playable and handles well on rough grain or smooth grained leather. The paints are nice and smooth and glide on to leather surfaces very well and makes for easy use.

Work as expected. Need multiple coats. Adhere well
I used these paints on my solid leather purse. It is a dark navy blue in color so I expected these paints to show up well. I deglazed the leather and put in a small flower painting. The paints were easy to use. I did see they dried up a little faded. After 3 coats however the flower painting did pop as I wanted it to. I have been using the purse every day for a month now and the painting is totally intact. For that reason I give this 5 stars

Pretty good!
I used these on some faux leather shoes and they worked great! I was at a friends and used her name brand shoe paint and wanted to try another project but didn't want to invest that kind of money, so I decided to give these a try. While they aren't quite the same quality, they are still good paints, especially considering the cost savings. I didn't use the deglaze and instead opted to use acetone to prep my shoes and that worked really well! I noticed some complained about peeling so I was a bit worried, but I haven't had that issue, I'm wondering if it's due to using a more aggressive deglaze. Either way, for the cost savings, this is a great set and I'm excited to try more projects with them.
