I don't usually write reviews however I was so impressed with this trimmer, it's light, the batteries are quick to charge and just one lasted to cut down tall grass and brambles with ease, all blades are great and easy to change, for the price a great piece of kit.

After "No mow May" covered from November to the end of June, there was no way my rotary mower could tackle 3 foot high grass and even taller weeds! So I bought this bladed trimmer which handled it pretty well. But such tall growth requires technique to avoid choking the blade: first waft the trimmer about 6" above the ground to cut the growth down to size, then do it again rolling it on the wheels. It is light enough to wave around. The cutting width is about 5". This isn't for mowing your lawn! I used the metal blade for this first job, I'll try the plastic one for keeping it in order until "benign neglect" takes over in November ... maybe October. Because of the limited instructions assembly was a bit of a faff, but YouTube is your friend! Mine had a chip of broken plastic come off the lock for the extending shaft, but doesn't affect the performance. I've glued it back. The thought of using the circular saw blade on branches is a bit scary, tbh. The batteries seem to last well, about 30 minutes each, at a guess.

Dreadful instructions which seems to be the new normal. However - Excellent strimmer. Goodbye main brand expensive strimmers with rubbish strimmer cords and hello to great value strimmer with plastic and metal blades. Very lightweight, I'm actually now using this as a lawn mower for my grass it's so great. Very happy. Fabulous value.

Fast delivery thank you Seller. Found it a little challenging to assemble, but got there in the end! Very pleased with this strimmer, came with attachments, gloves, goggles and 2 batteries. Lawn was rather long and this has cut it with no problem, much easier to use on a small lawn than a lawnmower, so a very good purchase in my opinion!

It is much better than a standard strimmer and the metal blades were just what I was needing for the garden. The assembly instructions are not the best but common it's not complicated to put together. I don't find the battery charger or the batteries themselves great and it takes forever for the batteries to charge and even with both batteries fully charged I can't get round the whole garden, but for context our garden is quite large. However it has done a really good job of cutting though what I needed to do and looks a lot neater than it ever did with a standard strimmer. I also tried cutting through some not very thick branches one at a time as it said to and didn't find it very good for this either.

Arrived on time. Item excellent. Took a while to figure out assembling as pictures to follow were very small, had to get magnifying glass out and that was with my reading glasses on aswell. However, I am thrilled with the strimmer, works a treat.

What seemed like a great buy is a total let down. Granted it's lightweight, comes with plenty of attachments, more robust than I was expecting and would be great for a small garden. A little low in power and the blades will stop if caught in fairly long grass. But lack of power is not the big issue, it's the batteries. Both came charged and both lasted about 20 minutes, just enough time to edge both my lawns and then both put onto recharge and nothing, one went for no more than a minute and the other didn't even charge at all. To be honest at such a cheap price I was expecting one battery to be a dud, but both is a bit to much. If it wasn't for the batteries it would have got about 3 to 4 stars from me.

What a brilliant little strimmer this is. I trimmed an old shrub three feet higher than me by using some metal blades and extending the length - so easy, and no ladders required. It comes with a generous number of blades, metal and plastic, and the real bonus of two batteries. I can't say how long they last as I haven't exhausted one yet. The head can be set to any angle you require, and the blades just need the Allen key (supplied) to change, very easy. The safety glasses were smashed, but hey, I've got others, and the kit included (strangely) three gloves. One star is deducted because the instructions make no sense whatsoever. It's fairly straight forward, though, and now there is a video which is much more helpful. For the price, this bit of kit is a bargain.
