It's a really good water pump if you have a pond or some water feature such as a waterfall or fountain that needs to move a major amount of water. It's very strong and very quiet. The only thing that I dislike about it is that the black plate covers don't hold on very well. It's too easy to take off. The front intake face plate can easily be clogged because there is no attachment area or connector to install an actual filter to prevent debris from entering the impeller. All the faceplate does is to limit the amount of water for the intake. If that's not going to be a problem for you, then this is the pump for you. But if you do medium scale aquaponics systems like me, then it will be a problem with no filter not being able to catch the debris in the water especially the waste from the fish. But if you use this for hydroponics or some water fountain, the filter is not needed, and you can live in peace knowing that you don't have to constantly disconnect and remove the pump just to clean the face plate. But like I said, this can really move water.

The pump works as expected, however, it is not pumping at 800 Gph.

I switch out my pumps periodically in my hydro system so that they don't get a buildup of bacteria and what not. This little pump does a great job of moving water from the water basin into the brain of my hydro system. It works really well and moves a lot of water quickly. It is pretty quiet, which is great, because my hydro system is near where I sleep. The water splashing into the tank is much louder than the pump itself. It fit my tubing that I use with one of the connector heads out of the box, which is also a plus. Overall I think it's a good product at a good price. 5 stars.

My outdoor pond's pump went bad so I ordered this one. It only pumps 800 gallons per hour but then my pond is only a 300 gallon pond so that's still approximately 2.6 turns per hour which keeps the pond nice and clear all summer long.The pump fit my filter box perfectly and the fact that there were multiple hose adapters meant I found one that fit my hose so there was no need for me to replace water outlet hose and that all made it an easy swap.

I am using it for an outdoor birdbath alongside another smaller pump. this thing is like shooting the feathers off a bird with a fire hose. I am going to be reutilizing it elsewhere. Perhaps a larger pool of water at some point. For now I will just use it to transfer water from one large container to another when water gets delivered to the property.

This is an excellent pump for smaller duty needs, such as water features or aquariums. It runs quietly and has a great flow rate to ensure quality aeration. It is easy to assemble and use, and is priced very well when compared to other available pumps. Overall, this is a great pump that performs as needed.

I got this for my hydroponic system but although the description says it's for hydroponics, it must be commercial grade systems. It wouldn't even fit in my home systems. But, if you have a small pond this would be good to circulate the water. It does come with a large tube the size of my finger. I could also see this being used for a large outdoor water fountain.

This pump is great. I use it to recirculate my kids' pool with the water slide (that goes into the pool). It gives the kids a great time and I don't have to constantly waste water by having the garden hose attached. This pump easily replaces the garden hose and more! It's almost too much water pressure!I can highly recommend this pump for a multitude of different uses.
