Superb adhesion to dash, hadn't budged a millimetre since installing 7.5 years ago. Magentic power just as good as new. Discs that adhere to phone hasn't lasted as well, but a bit of sanding and a coat of lacquer will sort that out, or I might use the spare disc instead. Excellent value, durability and longevity.

I have a Vauxhall Vivaro van and had a little trouble sticking it to the surfaces. Admittedly I didn't read the instructions.....You must allow the sticky pad to set before using it (12-24hrs). I got impatient and stuck it with super glue (it's in my work van not a car, so I'm not bothered about permanent marks. Warning: I don't recommend doing this on a car dash)I liked the idea that it is slim pad stuck to the back of my phone case Samsung A3, not too intrusive.I bought it, because I already have Sat Nav and on board dash camera stuck to the windscreen on my van. This fits nicely above the air vent, but is small enough to be unobtrusive with everything else in and around the dash board.The minus points to the product are; sticky pads are fiddly (patience required) and the limited tilt between mounting plate and beveled ring on top. So before fitting it check for positioning and that it's suitable for you. Hence I dropped a star on the rating. It is well made, ball magnet is strong and nicely finished.

I have had tons of different Phone holders in the past, From window mounts dash mounts vent mounts, grippers sticky etc. None have stood the tests of time. no matter what the prices were.So i was Desperate for a new unique holder, And i found this one. It was Fast delivery thanks to "Prime" the unit is small and i love the design, the ball unit sticks to any flat surface ( even the bubble vinyl on my merc) then the magnetic disc attaches to the ball in practically any angle, then you use 1 of the 2 discs provided to attach to the phone. this can be either by the 3M tape to the back or inside the phone behind the case, its very thin so doesn't show or prevent case from closing fully. then just hold the phone to the magnet and bingo its attached.I have been using this for a while now and i have found it Superb, it stays put no matter how rough you drive, even the famous UK pot holes and speed humps don't effect it. I have the smaller version available and it is perfect for phones similar to the S5. However if you have a note or bigger i suggest you get the larger one. it has a larger surface area. (and i think slightly stronger magnet but not sure)The pack came with 3 x 3M stickies for the Ball mount and 2 Discs for the phone. so well prepared for spares or 2nd phone.The instructions do advise to Place the ball mount with the magnet to the surface you wish without the tapes first to ensure it is where you have the required position. then when satisfied peel off the tape paper and press the unit onto the surface and hold for 10 seconds, then it is recommended to leave for 12 hrs to cure and ensure strong adhesion, before you fully use it. I did it overnight and its held in place firmly since.Overall verdictThe best phone holder Ever.

The media could not be loaded.  This product seems high quality, but be warned that despite the description it's NOT strong enough for an iPhone 6s Plus if you use a somewhat rugged case and want to hide the disc inside the case, as I presume most people would want to do... as you can see with the disc in this case the magnet can't even lift the phone from my desk. 3 stars simply because this is a warning, neither positive nor negative review.I have the case below and the 35mm is not strong enough, so I'll have to return for the larger 42mm version. It's rare I leave a review on here, but this little mount really is fantastic. The parts are of good quality, the neodymium magnet is very strong, and the pack includes several small shims/backplates and one large one. The supplied 3M branded sticky pads are fantastic and stick like... well... glue. Four spares are included for future use. My rather large and heavy iPhone 7 Plus now sits discretely and low down on the far right side of my car's dash, adjacent to the A pillar (to not restrict visibility but to be easily in eye-line when needing to check Waze or whatever). Despite having a slightly textured soft-touch plastic dashboard, as well as a softish official Apple silicone case (both advised against in the mount's instructions), the product works perfectly. Just make sure to follow the instructions for adhesive curing time (24 hours for the mount itself) before first use to be safe. I've had a day of hard/fast driving today and the phone didn't so much as wobble. I used the larger shim/backplate to be safe, but it's very thin and unobtrusive so no issues there. It makes placing and removing the phone from the mount completely trivial. I wish I'd found this product years ago!

This device is nothing less than perfect! Once you've stuck it place it is Important you leave it for 24 hours before placing your mobile phone onto the magntic interface. The glue on the pad needs that time to achieve a full strength vice like grip. Then its a doddle placing your phone on and off its suface mount time after time. The ball joint magnet is very powerful -your device will not move, twist or turn accidently. This wonderful object is small and unobtrusive so wont spoil the 'look' of your car interior - I chose the siver version to match the siver accents of my car interior against the predominantly black rest of it. Very classy, in my opinion ! Even the way it is packed with the spare pads etc is very well thought out. This should win design awards whenever it is nominted. Worthy of five stars ?- you betcha !
