Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had read in the reviews how easy this set was, so I selected it for a memorial art project for my family. We all have different skill sets and interest in art, and our different ages, and everybody enjoyed it.The items were great. The tools that were featured were the same ones that I saw in multiple different videos that we watched prior to doing the project, and all high-quality. I was worried that the wood stones wouldn’t be heavy enough, but they were awesome. I am going to order more stones and keep going - my teenage daughter and I discovered a new hobby! She liked things to be more Freeform, whereas I was very particular about everything being symmetrical.

This brand and set are so amazing! I originally ordered 10 of just the wooden stones from them, and that product alone sold me when I discovered this set. The wooden stones are the best pre-made mandala/rock painting "canvas" on Amazon in terms of usability and price.This set takes it a step above with the silicone stencils tailored for these wooden stones that you can continue to order from them. While the paint may not be the best, it's better than starting with none. There are also methods to adjust the consistency to make it better for dotting.The tools are great, with the right paint of course. I guess after someone mentioned not having a large dowel, they've included one since. Mine came with a dowel that is actually only the 3rd largest in a separate set, but it's still good for beginners. I also received a white gel pen, but a white charcoal or chalk pencil would have been exactly what was needed.An essential one-time buy. I'll be looking forward to ordering even more wooden stones now!

I bought this for my daughter as a fun rainy day activity and it didn't disappoint. The paints were high quality (and didn't smell!). Easy to apply the paint. Good use of imagination as you just paint as you see fit. Only downside was that the templates were a bit fiddly to use.

Bought one as a gift and another for me. Great little kit to try mandala dot painting, now I’m hooked. Pic was done with kit. I’ve bought new tools and paint since.

Love, the idea would be nice to be able to have more direction for the beginners. Not enough paint. Perhaps more beginner directions and ideas

My Grandchildren just loved the gift. However, I thought the rocks would have been bigger based on the picture. Still a fun project.
