My foundation was about two shades too dark and this worked to give me the perfect shade after only two attempts.

Purchased to help color correct an expensive foundation that was much too warm/yellow for my complexion. One pump of my foundation with a pea sized blob of this blue - and my foundation color now matches perfectly. So much better than having a nice product going to waste!

I was a little shocked about just how blue this product is. I immediately imagined myself joining Blue Man Group. But though it is bright in the tube, when you mix it together with your foundation it does not actually make it blue, it just makes it a more ashen color with cool undertones. I find this to be great, as my skin is very pink/red a lot of the time. The coolness of the tiny dollop you add to the foundation is enough to keep my pinkish color under control. Obviously you don't need much for it to go a long way, since the pigment is indeed super saturated with color. I can see this being very useful in situations where you're going to have a lot of pictures taken, or are doing stage makeup, because you can use this and some creative lighting to come up with beautiful results.

I’m pretty pale and a lot of times I either get a shade I think will be light enough for me and it isn’t or the lightest shade available isn’t light enough for me. I’ll return it when I can and get a different shade but sometimes for whatever reason I’m not able to. If it’s the lightest shade available but I like the way it looks on, then I do want to keep it. So, I need a foundation/concealer lightener for those situations.I love they have different options - white to lighten, blue to make a foundation/concealer cooler when it’s too warm, and yellow to warm up one that’s too pink. They just need one to darken too. But, the yellow MIGHT work for that if you need something darker but warmer too.It’s not easy finding a good foundation/concealer lightener (one that lightens without changing the formula) - but this one is REALLY GOOD!-It comes in a squeeze tube with a thin top, so you’re able to easily get just as much as you need.-It lightens foundation/concealer really well WITHOUT changing the finish of it, how it applies, or how it wears, which a lot of lighteners do. It just changes the color!-It blends well into all different foundations/concealers I’ve used it with easily.To mix it, I just put however much foundation/concealer I usually use onto a little palette (or even the back of my hand) and then a few drops of this (how much depends on if it’s foundation/concealer and how much foundation/concealer I’m using) and then mix it up. It’s really easy!If you’re looking for a good foundation/concealer adjuster, I’d definitely recommend this! I’m going to grab it in “02# Sea Tide” so I can also make foundations/concealers that are too warm a little cooler!

I generally put a yellow makeup under my eyes, and then cover it with my regular fleshtone foundation. This works well for that purpose. Just be careful when you squeeze the tube, because a TINY DAB is all you need. (REALLY! just a TINY DAB!) This foundation is nice and thick, and it goes a REALLY LONG WAY!!!The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that the Amazon ad doesn't indicate that it's manufactured in China, and doesn't list any standard lab inspection credentials. That makes me very nervous, because substances are readily absorbed by the skin. I don't even like it when a product says it's made under strict supervision, because that's so nebulous. So great product, just makes me nervous.

It is amazing what adding a little bit of blue can do to any of your cosmetics. Especially contouring a shadow is not round. It's move, it's ashy, so add a little bit of this to your contour. It's fabulous

i would like to include that i’ve gotten the blue, white and yellow so i will be speaking for all shades not just the white. i haven’t used it TON yet but so far my experience with it has been okay. it works for what i needed it for but i do notice it thins out my foundation. it’s water based so thats good, but i would recommend if you do need to use these to use it with a more full coverage water based foundation that way if it does thin out a bit it’s not the end of the world. adding it to a fit me foundation.. i wish it worked but. a little goes a long way so be careful, it’s tough to squeeze just a tiny bit out but try your best cause what started off as a simple color match can turn into a tragic mess REAL quick and a waste of product. white is forgiving you can add more of that but the yellow. damn be careful or you’ll look like a simpson character.

This is truly an amazing product. I was looking for the LA colours correcting pigments but couldnt find in Canada. Thankfully found this and took a leap. Saved so many of my makeup products that were otherwise unsuitable for my skintone. You only need a teeny tiny drop to add to 1 pump of foundation. Otherwise it can get too yellow and also alter the foundation formulation a bit. So be careful when mixing.

I have been using this to color correct my foundation and I love it. It could work as an eyeshadow base potentially too.
