Cant go wrong
This is a great product it has serviced me well for nearly a year now without failure. It's a very rigid cord so you don't have to worry about it snapping off easily. Overall great product and you get a real bang for your buck!

I use this splitter in maybe an unconventional way.
Although my son with a BS in Computer Science, and who setup our WiFi, tells me I'm doing this all wrong, I am using this MOGOOD USB C Splitter USB C to USB C Female Adapter USB Y Splitter Cable to feed 5 volts to a 3-Link surveillance camera in a chicken coop. Although I have the camera's USB-C input fed by solar panels, sometimes they can't keep up. I use this splitter to add a INIU battery to the feed. So that makes two 5v sources added together, which where I come from adds up to 5v, but more amps. When I added this setup to the camera, we were having very overcast days. The solar panels didn't keep up. The battery added enough to recharge the camera over an hour or two.The splitter has one male USB-C output, and two female USB-C inputs. Use your imagination. You're on your own.

Nonfunctional
I made the mistake of ignoring the many poor reviews and ordered this product.TLDR: Did not work at all on either female connector for power or dataMore detailed:I was hoping to use this to split power from a USB-C battery power pack to use for a pair of low power LED lights for a kid's costume. The USB-C lights did not receive power from either female port, with standard troubleshooting (one port at a time, both, reverse the way the plug was facing on each end, different source).I then attempted to use this splitter for other USB-C devices with several sources and could not get any data or power connectivity.I figured it was a long shot to try this, and wish I hadn't. I am returning it as defective/ non-functional and would not recommend it to anyone else. For my project, I ended up finding a usb-c output battery pack (samsung) with 2 usb-c ports that my son carried in his pocket rather than the single output battery pack I had mounted on a headband. Sometimes the more expensive solution is the right way to go.

Good for the price.
Unable to use for charging and external usb connection such as a monitor.

Use external dongle-DAC while charging
Exactly what I needed to use my external USB-dongle-DAC (M15i) with my Samsung phone, and charge at the same time. A lot of similar products either have a USB-A input or a built-in DAC, neither of which fit my use case.

Didn't work with Apple Car Play
The adapter works fine to power the phone and listen to headphones. I was trying to listen to music stored on a USB-C thumb drive connected to my phone in my car. My car stereo didn't recognize the phone with a the adapter plugged in so I had to use Bluetooth to listen to music. Once I unplugged the splitter to go back to wired Apple Car Play, the car stereo didn't recognize the phone. No power to the phone and no connection. I had to restart the phone and the turn the car off and back on to get back to my normal Apple Car Play. Plus, the phone imports the music files from the USB-C thumb drive anyway so it was an exercise in futility, at least the way I was hoping to use the adapter.

Keeping it charge.
It is very good for me, because I listen to my music with my ear buds. The one with the wire, not the Bluetooth kind. This way I am able to listen and charge my phone at the same time. I love it.
