Not too thick, very comfortable, especially in the band. And they come in petite length!
I am thrilled to find Jobst in petite length without having to order through my lymphedema therapist. It makes all the difference. Plus the band is not too tight and doesn't dig in. They can sometimes ride down a little but not that much. I can wear them all day without discomfort. They aren't too tight or too loose like other brands. Somehow these have enough stretch to be comfortable without sacrificing compression. Also, in the 20-30 mmHg they are not too thick and don't make me feel too hot. I have a couple of complaints, though. First is that the foot area feels a tiny bit loose and I usually have the opposite problem - that they're too tight because I have wide feet. So I have to be careful putting shoes on or they'll bunch in the foot. The second complaint is that they are kind of a darker tan than I need. I wish they came in a nude color so they don't look weird with loafers. And how about footless sleeves, too? But those are minor complaints overall. I have been a Jobst fan for 20 years, it is my favorite brand of compression hose.

Best compression garments I have ever worn.
If you are worried of these are medical grade donโt be. They are. I always wore the closed toes and now I never will again. These are easy to put on and take off due to the open toe too. The quality is the best part about them. I know I am using a great product. I ordered 4 more pairs. The video helps you go through what size and they fit perfectly. The length is just right too. These are a dark brown but I use another sock over them with pants and no one even knows I am wearing them. I can wear open toe shoes with pants as well. Happy these are sold on Amazon. Highly recommend.

Work and comfortable
These compression socks have work well in helping to reduce swelling in legs. They are comfortable to wear for hours; relaxing or exercising.

Crept up
Most compression socks, including Jobstโs, tend to be too short in the foot for me, giving me ingrown toenails; so I gave these open-toed socks a try. This was the size measured for me by both my vascular clinic and DME supplier. I wore this sock on only one leg, as its firm fabric was difficult to get on the leg that has an artificial hip. I assume they will soften after a few washings, as most compression socks do, so wasnโt necessarily concerned about that. The open-toed sock started out long in the foot but was comfortable (almost reached the end of my toes) and was about right lengthwise. Within minutes, however, everything started to creep up. I repositioned the sock several times throughout the day, but it continued to bunch around my ankle and knee (because it crept up that high!). By dayโs end, my ankle was swollen and I had painful ridges around it and under my knee. I wore one sock for one day. Wonโt be wearing it again. โExpensiveโ is subjectiveโI think itโs worth it if you can find a style that fits and does its job. This pair isnโt worth it to me. Some people obviously have better success, because these have a high rating and the brand has a good reputation. This company makes some โSportโ socks that have a little more toe room and fit me very well, so if you need a bit more toe room, try those.

Length of Jobst
Nice but very long come up well over my knee ( I am 5'10"). I ordered knee high.

I prefer these over the thigh-high garments
These lower leg garments provide excellent compression. I prefer the open toe design since I wear socks over these comfortable garments. I tried the thigh-high garments but I found that they failed to stay in place and I was constantly pulling them up.

Just...awesome
I purchased 2 pairs of Jobst thigh-high compression stockings (20-30 mmHg), and one pair of the same compression in knee highs. These knee highs have become my go-to hose! Yes, they are a bear to get on, and yes, most days I can feel I am wearing them. BUT. My grossly swollen lower legs and feet have become NOT swollen. I guess it is because I wear the stockings every day-take them off when I go to bed-and just have made it a habit. And the results are astounding! Compression stockings purchased elsewhere (and I have plenty of those) don't do the same job for me. I cannot recommend these enough. If you have swollen legs and/or feet, swallow the high price and just get these. Wear them religiously, and you, too will be amazed. I thought my 'normal' legs were a thing of the past. Not with these hose. I wear them a couple of days, then hand wash them, as the instructions say. Hang to dry. They really are worth it!

I got them for my father. It was recommended from his doctor.
