works as advertised
Not much to say about it, it does what it says it does. One key thing about it though is that if I plug in a device that is capable of supplying power, it will continue to power my hard drives and case fans after I've shut down my computer. That may be an issue with my power supply, but either way this has enough ports that I no longer need the hub I was using before.

Electronically it seems fine. The quality of the physical configuration is terrible. the parts do not have a quality finish. The SATA power connector has a rough finish that made it very difficult to attach the power cord. This ended up being easy compared to the socket for the auxiliary (additional) 2 USB ports. The plastic enclosure was cocked and too small for the plug from my front panel USB ports. I was afraid it would break off before I could get the plug in.

Works well, instructions lacking.
It works well. No issues yet with performance. But the install was not plug and play... Like others have noted, make sure you have access to a CD reader on the PC to install the drivers (for at least windows 10). Side note, instructions are in the package, but printed soooo small. if you cant read the word liberty on the front of a penny, you will not be able to read the instructions.

Great addition to my PC
This thing gave me more than I needed and I love it. I'm now able to use 2 additional USB ports on the front of my case, plus it came with 3 USB A ports and two more USB c ports on the back.

Works as expected - no fuss installation.
Bought this because the USB 3.0 header on my motherboard got a bent pin when I moved it to a new case. This does the trick to give my top panel USB ports life again.

It works
Windows update couldn't find the driver, but after installing the driver from the disc it was able to updateTLDR: make sure you have a disc drive to copy the driver
