I have to go through metal detectors at work. Never had a problem wearing metal suspenders until recently when one prick guard started making a big issue so I went searching for a non metallic option. I bought these and was worried about how durable the plastic clips would be because I'm constantly climbing on and off equipment throughout the day. To my surprise these have held up very well so far. I've been wearing them a little over a month so far and I actually like them better than my metal ones so I'm thinking about getting a couple more pairs. These are very lightweight and you hardly even notice they're on. My metal ones are very heavy duty and feel constricting after a long day of wearing. I am pleased with this purchase.

This is my second order of these. I am very rough on belts and suspenders. The plastic clips on these hold strong and don't cause damage to jeans like the metal clips always do. The adjustment clips hold their position very well also. I've used many different suspenders and I prefer these over all others.

The whole idea of getting these was to be able to go through TSA and not take them off (and lose my pants 😟 ).HOWEVER the buckles are large. They definitely can be uncomfortable when leaning against hard backed seats; stadium. My guess is that they are so large as to be strong enough plastic to stand up to continuous use.Otherwise they are as expected.

I was worried that the plastic clips might be prone to breaking easily, but they are very sturdy and I do not think there will be any problem down the road.

I spent a long time researching suspenders for an upcoming wedding, where I wanted to keep my pants up around my diminishing waist. They work fine, but are not really anything special, especially considering the price. The large plastic clips, although useful for passing through the airport, are terribly uncomfortable.

OK, here's the deal - plastic is not as strong as metal (at least the affordable plastics) so the clips and adjusters on these, while they do go through airport security just fine, are larger and clunkier than their metal equivalents on regular suspenders. Thus, I'll only be wearing them when I'm going to the airport.

Great hold in the clamps, no more worries that the buckle will hit you in the face or neck. Would have liked it even more if they were making them 1.5'' or 1.75'' wide.
