Good but bad
Brilliant piece of kit minus one slight problem! It’s irritating after 2-3 hours of use, the straps that go around your shoulders are far to close to one another and after not long they’ll start to dig in and irritate your shoulders, traps & neck!I’ve been using viper gear for a decade now and it’s one of my go to company’s for durability but this unfortunately is a bad design, I had high hopes for it when it arrive but after trying it a few times I’m not too happy, it sits on my door hanger and barely gets used now such a shame. If viper designers are reading this please give for more space around the back it’s too tight and I’m seriously disappointed this got put into production without more trials being done and this not coming to anyone’s attention, you’d have to be a twig for it to be comfortable and even then I doubt it would be.I will still continue to buy from viper but this has made me doubt the quality from here on.

I bought this bag to go camping with and i was not dissapointed its well made, sturdy, and can carry all i need for a few days in the wild without the back ache i got with my last backpack. overall i am very impressed with it.

Basic tactical pack - great for photographers
Bought this bag for lugging my camera kit around on wildlife photography walks.I’ve previously used a 30l tactical pack and like the style for organising cameras, lenses etc as well as my daily outdoor kit. Just needed a bit more space for those long lenses! It’s a pretty basic pack. There’s not really any back padding or support - I’ve inserted a couple of cheap foam sitmats in the hydration pocket (at least I assume it’s a hydration pocket!) and that’s done the trick. Bit more solid and protects my lenses a bit more.No inside pockets. I’m used to those zipped mesh pockets that most tactical bags have so this was a bit that I missed having. Am using a selection of small mesh and silnylon stuff sacs instead and have to be a bit more organised. Front outside pocket is zipped at an angle which actually works quite well as it gives a much wider opening to get your hand in. I’m going to sew/glue in a key clip in here as there’s nowhere else to safely stash my car keys.Shoulder straps I personally found a bit of an odd shape - bit closer at the top than I’m used to and the curve didn’t suit my shape! However, out in the field they weren’t that annoying so guess I just need to get used to it.Waist belt seems solid and didn’t slip at all in use. Lots of adjustment.Stitching appears good, can’t find any fraying or badly stitched spots yet.Plenty of Molle webbing and fits my existing range of pouches well. Lots of extra straps on outside (top and base)- I’ve removed these as they just get in the way, but handy to keep for extra accessory straps later. So: cheapish basic tactical pack that works well if you take time to adapt bits to suit. If it had the inside organiser pockets it would have 5 stars from me. I like it a lot :-)

Lots of room and tassels
Great bit of kit. Lots of tassels hanging of the bottom of the bag to secure stuff to, so maybe not for every day use. Seems really well made.

Overpriced and too basic
Waste of money this pack. Three compartments and that it. No extra inside pockets at all. Zips are very stiff. Many better backpacks available on here for much less money.

Zaino Viper Special OPS camo
