Best VFM machine with killer specs+Budget friendly
Best friend of your pocket.Performer too.PROS FIRST- AMD A-10 processer is comparable to Intels i7 in many ways...some times better than i7. NB: AMD doesnt get over heated any more. with their upgraded hardware architecture they are super cool.. SORRY INTEL FANFARES ...LOL-Stylish and trendy looks,Bit bigger though(Trust me not odd at all)-For the price,Best build quality-amazing speed with dual graphics crossfire technnologyTrue 5.1 Surround output.I am enjoying it with ,my logitech surround system. My friends envy me lol XD-2TB HDD with AMAZINGLY FAST 7200 rpm !!!!!-Dedicated graphic card with 2gb memory-USB.3 thats a cool feature which most desktop will miss badly-On top of all it is a wifi and bluetooth enabled pc... I havent seen much Pc's with this nifty feature although its a must these days.-Super quiet, I live in a lonely house alone... still cant hear any noise... Amazing.- Card readerCONS-I have managed to find a few cons as well-HEAVY.. Trust me this thing isnt light weight...nearly 11 kg...-USB 3 slots are in the rear... But I can live with it.-No VGA or HDMI cables provided.- I had them so no issues. But You are warned.None of these cons are a deal breaker for me..I bought this 2 days back and it arrived it within a day.Thx to Prime.Well packed but the outer carton was so huge and was filled with blister packs. My room is getting full with loads amazon cartons as i purchased tons of stuff over a month.Uff I spoke more off-topic. Now about product- Its amazingly crafted, built to last product,More about product follows. It comes in a sturdy pack, and luckily no much plastic which i hate most to open..tests my patience always... Inside the box a driver CD for win 8.1 driver installation. Thats really good....It can be really handy if you ever re-install the OS in future. There is a wired mouse and wired keyboard although mouse looks like substandard, keyboard is excellent, strong and large with full sized keys.Nice touch there.... And finally there is a 1.2m long typical UK power cable. Last but not the least, Documentation stuffs with warranty statement cards etc.I found user manual very detailed and includes how to open the pc for upgrades and maintenance..that's cool. I always love proper documentation.... Helps me for DIY tasks :)Many believe era of desktops are over..But LENOVO'S these products and its wide acceptance proves otherwise. I never thought i will buy a desktop in my life, but its beastly specs and competitive price tempted me. I am proud now as it meets my purpose which to my dell laptop often wobbles. About software part.. It comes preloaded with genuine Windows 8.1 with all necessary drivers pre installed. After you entered WiFi password it will automatically register your product and auto update apps.It can be a long process depending on your connectivity source.I wonder how Lenovo has crammed these many things to this budget.I also believe that the last longer.PS:I didnt have a monitor. I hooked it up with my Samusung smart TV( Samsung UE22H5610 22-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p Slim Smart LED TV with Built In Wi-Fi and Freeview HD - White 22inch with HDMI. Hey AMD CATALYST CONTROL PANEL WILL DETECT IT AS A HDTV AND WILL ADJUST RESOLUTION TO THE BEST FIT. Guys ..best deal on a pc out there....Go grab it.Say thx if u think I was helpful :)

A lot of PC for the money
Really happy with my H50. Performance is spot on, especially for the price I paid on here.Since the windows 10 upgrade came through I'd say this machine has only got better. It boots to log on in a handful of seconds, and is fully up and running very soon after (the only real delay is due to my sizeable dropbox cloud files syncing through my mediocre WiFi).If I had to pick fault with this machine, the only (very very slight) gripe is that the two USB ports on the front of the unit are USB 2.0. You do get two USB 3.0 ports at the back (plus two more USB 2.0 next to them). This doesn't fuss me too much since I simply got a cheap four-way USB 3.0 hub, and stuck it at the top of the unit so that I now have four ports in easy reach. For those who wish to further expand the (already massive) storage capability or upgrade to SSD for even faster boot and response times, there is a spare hard-drive bay and 2 spare SATA ports inside the casing. This week I have given in to the temptation and will be installing a 120GB SSD to put the OS and larger programmes on. This way I can keep the original 2TB HDD simply for file storage where the extra speed isn't going to make as much difference. I can't wait to see how fast this thing will be with the SSD, it's already lightning fast as it is!

Lenovo H50 Tower Non Start-Up advice
only just after sooo much hassle got my Lenovo to work, on the cusp of returning it to Amazon, the various models on pages no3 to 6 in the owner's manual that show a rear view of the unit state at no9 or no10 depending on model that this is an EXPANSION CARD SLOT(PAGE5) OR (SOME MODELS ARE EQUIPPED WITH GRAPHICS CARD USB3.0 OR TV TURNER CARD) BUT ACTUALLY SHOW A BLANK!! STRIP! in the user's manual what it should show is a SECOND VGA Connector such as Numbered at No4 and single USB connector beside it. Try this LOWER VGA Connector as it seemed to work for me - its great if your tech savvy BUT worded poorly if your not (like myself)and show's Nothing on Any of the designs illustrated I hope this may help other frustrated owner's and should be changed in the manual by LENOVO in my opinion.

Great value for money BUT sadly not reliable.
PROS: Looks good, very quiet and top spec for the money paid (just over £420). Enormous 2TB storage. Decent graphics card.CONS:Unfortunately, slow to boot up despite the fast processor. Could live with that. However what let this machine down was one day it just didn't boot up and there was an error that the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file was missing. Contacted Amazon for the recovery disks but Amazon do not keep any of the installation disks. To Amazon's credit, they responded the same day and offered a discount for me to purchase the disks or a full refund.Would like to recover the machine because there is a lot of data and software installed but not sure if this is a sign of other things going wrong...
