Cuso's Gravel BBQ Rub – All-Purpose Seasoning for Steaks, Meat, Veggies, Burgers, Chicken, Pork, Ribs & More – 1 Count BBQ Rub

I bought this for my smoker/bbq husband while buying the Texas butter. My husband has fallen in LOVE with Gravel, and wants to put it on EVERYTHING! I think it's delicious and really appreciate that it's not TOO salty. I particularly like the Hatch pepper flavor, I've never seen that in a rub before.

This is a fantastic seasoning for any beef or pork dish. I have used it on steaks and ribs….Wonderful flavor!

The main flavors I taste here are onion, garlic and then in the back, a nice heat from the peppers. The peppers are in the background and the onion is quite strong. The seasoning is chunky enough that it won't come though the dots side of the shaker and must be on the pour side. There was no seal on the outside of the bottle and it was not fully sealed on the top when I removed the lid. This made me nervous to even try it as it was unsealed. It didn't look tampered with, but a pack of seal issue. So I decided to taste it and use it on a steak, then on some rice. It was pretty good in both ways and could be added to a variety of dishes.

I saw this product being used in an online video, decided to give it a try. I bought the Gravel and Dirt. Gravel in my opinion is far superior to dirt. I had tried products in the past such as Carnivore Red and Black and thought dirt would be similar to Black seasoning, but it was not. Gravel seasoning was used on some steaks. I live in an apartment, therefore cannot use a grill. I sous vide the steak and reverse pan seared at the end, and the Gravel seasoning easily took my steak to the next level. Very flavorful and because the Gravel seasoning isn't a fine grind, it added a level of texture I was looking for in a steak. Highly recommend.
