Fine, but mostly imported parts.
This is an empty (no ballast, since the lamps don't need it) florescent fixture made of stamped steel, along with 2 led retrofit lamps. The lamps are bright, though Chinese made. The sockets ('tombstones') are very high quality, made in Italy. Not sure what is "made in USA" about this. This is a fine product, easy to install and seems to work well, but next time I think I'll pick up a couple retrofit LED tubes locally for about $15 each and pull the ballasts from existing florescent fixtures. I don't want to sound too critical, but this was pretty expensive for what it is, and is mostly imported.

Weird Shadows
The instructions are not very helpful. There is some assembly required. I have just completed wired a newly constructed pole barn and installed all of the additional lighting, myself...which included eight LED light fixtures of another brand. No problem with those LED's. Very easy to install and very bright. This light fixture on the other hand, requires some assembly and the light output (of one light) is minimally adequate for a 22'x20' garage. Another issue...these lights cast yellow shadow strips on a bare wall. I don't believe you could see these shadows with stuff in a room because the shadows would be broken up. But when I installed these in a newly remodeled garage these lights created yellowy stripes on the wall. Kind of weird. Not overly impressed.

) and they suggested that I could have daisy chained a few bays together and been fine. Both lights start nearly instantly
I paired one of these with a 3-tube version of this product and placed them in my garage. I purchased some 18-gauge wire and daisy chained the second light to the first. I spoke to the company (amazing & fast customer service!) and they suggested that I could have daisy chained a few bays together and been fine. Both lights start nearly instantly, the delay is only noticeable when I am trying to judge it.I replaced the standard light switch in my garage with one of these 5A Maestro sensors, so now the lights engage automatically anytime I walk or drive into my garage they come on automatically, and because of the occupancy sensor they stay on as long as I am working in the garage. PERFECT! Maestro Sensor switch, 5A, No Neutral Required, Single-Pole or Multi-Location MS-OPS5MH-IV, Ivory I would give this 4-stars, but the product comes with no instructions. It must assume that the purchaser is an electrician. I have to do quite a bit of research to make sure I was assembling things correctly. That said - fantastic product!

Fabulous illumination for the shop
I needed new lighting for my 2-car garage shop, and shop sites suggested that for my space I needed a total of 25,000 lumens. So I purchased 5 of these units and and installed them quite easily. My first thought, however, after turning them on was WAY TOO BRIGHT OH MY GOODNESS... I've since gotten used to it, however, and the illumination level is perfect. The angle of lighting from the elements is a little on the high side, catching the eye level a bit uncomfortably. I solved that by running a 1/4" strip of black gaffers (masking) tape along the top of the clear housing of the element to shade it a bit.

Don't buy this
This product does not work well as advertised. I have a sensor and the light flickers most of the time. It is also not that bright. I regret buying this instead of the one from homedepot.
