I ordered these 4.3x6.3 Inches Resealable Smell Proof Mylar Bags so i would be able to securely store small amounts of pantry supplies like rice, quinoa, and other dried goods when I’m getting down to the bottom of a bag or box. It drives me crazy when I have to keep a huge box or bag on the shelf When there’s a half a cup of something left.This product does the trick. I do like the fact that the bottom of each bag can be pushed open to stand up like a pouch. The one drawback is that there is no way to know what is inside the bag unless you label it yourself, but that is not a deal breaker.They are very easy to seal by hand and seem to hold as much of a vacuum as I can create when pressing the air out of them on the edge of the counter. They also are keeping food poured inside fresher than if I just put a rubber band around the bag of peanuts or other food item.Ultimately my goal will be to place half cup to one cup amounts of a lot of different dry goods and spices into these bags to store in my cabinets, so I don’t have to clutter up my kitchen shelves with lots of big bulky containers, and I can keep those things on my larger storage shelves in the basement.

Really loving the gloss black color, really looks professional. These are great bags for dry food storage, especially things like coffee, tea, beans, oats, granola, nuts, herbs, really any dry goods. you can even use them for cold winter gear and camping to keep things dry like gloves, hats, scarf, medical supplies, matches, the list is endless. The nice part is after you zip lock the bag you can seal it. I have a sealer, but I have seen people use a regular old iron to seal these bags. The mylar bags have notches in the sides so you can tear them open easily when you need to open them after sealing. Great 100 set of bags and at 4.33 mil thick they are very strong and puncture resistant. Great bag with endless uses, highly recommend.

These are good bags, we use them to keep spices in and they work extremely well. They reseal easily and they are smell proof - I never smell the spices until we open the bag so I know it's quite effective. They also stand up well and that is a huge plus for me!

They seal well and I appreciate that these bags protect from the sun but you will need labels since these bags have no view window to see what's inside. The bottom gussets allow these bag to stand, allowing for a more organized look if you are Type A like myself.
