These shoes are quality constructed, solid, and mean business. While true to size and ergonomically correct, they seem to be skimpy on padding - both the soles and the sides of the shoes have very little cushioning. I had to get thicker socks and use a sole insert to get the comfort I needed for all day wear. With those changes, the shoes have been comfortable and are holding up very well for the past 4 months.

They fit great, good quality. The only problem is that the insole seems like it’s a little too big so it over hangs up the side of the boot and I can feel it on my foot.

I'm quite impressed by the quality of this boot, and so is my hubby (the one I got them for). He's worn boots all his life and one of his first comments was that this is a nice boot. ZHe typically goes through boots (wears them completely out) within a year, and he thinks these may outlast that based off of the build quality.
