Politely, you could say my musician son is a large man. That is an understatement. He is a huge Hulk type man and he plays with passion. So the chair he uses must be able to support all that passion and finding a chair that would work with him and his bass was seeming to be the impossible task. This actually works and he gets some lumbar support when he gets to a pause with his musician friends. He is happy with it and he is one of the most critical people I know when it comes to what works and does not work for him.

It's very sturdy but I'm using it as a chair for acoustic playing guitar not drums, so there's not a lot of movement when in use. The padding is nice and the height adjustment is smooth. It looks nice enough that I keep it in my living room near my guitar.

Nice heavy duty throne. I like the seat design better than the saddle type (privates go numb). My only complaint is that it’s gonna take a while to fully break in the seat cushion so still looking forward to that day. Backrest is a nice bonus.

Came with misaligned holes for the backrest that required drilling. No instructions on if to remove the plastic cover over the shaft of the piston or not. And I’m not sure what “Take Down” is supposed to instruct me to do. Sounds intimidating.

High quality, raise and lower feature works great with nice wide seat. The swivel feature is also very helpful. After using it for a bit the back is a little wobbly and is a little low with no adjustability.
