Just Arrived and BLOWN AWAY!
I literally took this out of the package 10 minutes ago and I'm done placing it and scanning for channels. It's connected to my TCL Roku tv in my bedroom where I had a small TV top antenna with rabbit ears. The first scan for channels picked up 38 channels with the antenna in my window (not in the direction of any stations). I moved it to a wall facing the direction of the TV stations and it picked up 40. The signal for most of the stations is 4/5 bars with the stations in the opposite direction coming in at 2 or 3 of the five bars. The HD channels look great and there hasn't been any breakup or distortion. I have a large 150 mile antenna for the living room and a small long range antenna for the family room. (My house is really spread out and I don't like weakening the signal when it's split between multiple TVs. Plus the weather here can mess with them sometimes.) This antenna performs just as well as my big ones. It doesn't pick up 13 of the stations my other antennas do, but thankfully they aren't channels I watch anyways. You will not find a better small sized omnidirectional TV antenna for the price. I highly recommend this!Note: the furthest TV station from me is 36 miles away, and according to the antennaweb site, I should be getting up to 41 channels with an antenna positioned below 30ft.

I'm getting 40 channels with this antenna placed by a ...
I'm getting 40 channels with this antenna placed by a window ! I recently cut the cord(Cable TV) so I'm streaming all of my TV content. I purchased an Amazon Fire stick and with my Amazon Prime and a subscription to Netflix, I have more than enough commercial-free videos to watch. I also subscribe to Sling for some Live content, but in my area Sling does not broadcast any of the major channels such as NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox. This antenna did the trick. I am now picking up all of the major channels and more, which come in as clear as day and it's all free.

Doesn't work very well at the moment.
Maybe it is my location but this did not pick up all of the channels that should be available. It missed NBC, CBS and ABC. I have it on my wall behind the TV but higher up closer to the ceiling. Fox comes in but with terrible reception and cuts out a lot. Once I get an extra long coaxial cable I will run it to the nearest window and see if it makes a difference. I may update the review at that time but maybe I won't since it states "best location is the window" but it also states that you can put it anywhere. Not true in my case.

Amplified Cord too short, defeats the purpose
This was a lightening deal purchase that I regret. I had planned to purchase a small tv for the kitchen. So when I saw this deal, I purchased the antenna prior to buying the tv. Well a few months later, my husband purchased & installed the tv and attempted to install the antenna but the cord was too short and could not reach the outlet. Therefore, it is useless for any of our tvs. Unless you have a tv installed on the wall with an outlet directly behind it; SAVE your money.

Beautiful HD clarity
This antenna delivered more than I expected. The cable was long enough to reach my window even hidden behind furniture. The picture quality is excellent and stable. I live about 35 miles from the center of a big city. This antenna has given me 50 over the air channels. It’s a good idea to get an antenna with a longer range than you think you need. It sure beats the rabbit ears of the old days.

absolutely fantastic antenna
Very easy to set up. I have 2 different antennas in other rooms and they give me less channels. I am extremely happy to get CBS which doesn't come in other rooms. I am amazed at how many channels I get. The reception is excellent. I am planning to buy two more for other rooms also. The only complaint I heard from others was that the color was black and doesn't suit the wall!!!

This antenna did not work in my hilly neighborhood
I hoped this would pull in local stations in Eugene, OR when I cancelled out Comcast cable TV service. We live in an area referred to the South Hills in Eugene. This antenna may be good in flat areas, but it did not work in my hilly area. A small RCA unit worked in one part of the house, but another powered brand (white and rectangular in shape) that I got on Amazon works very well in 3 other areas of my home...one of which is a lower level family room built into a rising hill at the back of the house.

From 6 to 20 Channels
After cutting the cord with cable I decided to get an HDTV Antenna to get better reception of the local broadcast channels. The 12" piece of coax cable with 6 inches of the sheating was just not cutting it. I stuck it in the attic hanging from a nail and ran the cable inside the wall and connected it to the back of the wall plate (see pic). Then I used and extra coax cable to connect to the provided amplifier which is connected to the USB on the back of my TV. I went from 6 channels to 20 now. I'm very pleased with this antenna. I also have Amazon Fire TV and Netflix so I have plenty of choices.
