I am always amped up and can't sleep; when I do it is only 3-5 hours. This allows a peaceful, longer sleep time for me now after taking this suppliment for about a week. My doctor instructed me to take magnesium for helping my kidneys get back in shape, so I purchased this multiple Magnesium suppliment. Overall, I can actually feel a difference and have better cognance for my daily work loads.

This magnesium supplement works great for me when I take one capsule before bed, I feel subtle but noticeable increased relaxation and improved sleep. I am 5'9 and 135 lb. I decided to up the dosage one night to help with passing stool and took the recommended dosage of 3 capsules around 9:30pm I drank 20oz of water as well. I woke up around 4 am with some digestive discomfort, but by 5:30 I was extremely nauseous and threw up, in addition to diarrhea. The label does warn about intestinal discomfort and suggests starting with a lower dose but as painful and intense as this reaction is I think there should be a little more clarity regarding dosage for body weight. I would expect some discomfort or maybe diarrhea with the full amount but as intense as the nausea and vomiting as well have been I am warning others use caution and do your own research when deciding how much of the supplement to take.

This is the best magnesium for elderly. I purchase this for my mom and it really helps her.

Because Mag Glycinate and Citrate are the best assimilated, I love that they are listed first in ingredients. I need them to aid in sleep, restless legs syndrome and heart function. (recommended by my doctors). All of the different mags are utilized differently by the body, so I'm glad that this complex includes the other types as well. I only take 1-2/day, not 3 in the late afternoon - 3 hrs after other Rxs to avoid interaction and overdosing.
