I ordered 4 Life Straws to be used by family to take with them on hikes as a water filter and to hold in reserve for emergency water quality problems. They arrived well packaged. While I have not yet used the product, they appear to meet the description of the seller and am reasonably confident they will function well.

We've just had a few earthquakes (3) in 2 weeks in the Vancouver area and I was looking for a smaller version of the current Lifestraws that we already have for emergency planning - these fit the bill. I've put one in each of my kids' backpacks and it should cover the water components. No more bottles of water going to waste - just have these around whether we are camping or for emergencies.

Great product for outdoors or if you're travelling to a country where you unsure about quality of water or if chlorine water upsets your stomach. Best easy to use. Price is a little high comparable to other competitors but incredibly convenient. Must use on hiking trips , camping trips and if you travelling to Asia, Africa and have weak immune system to avoid any infection.

Attached filter to a 2L pouch setting up a gravity system. Lake Water filtered through quite quickly and tasted good. No aftertaste of any sorts. Taking it on a camping trip this week.
