In the process of redecorating the house and after completing one room with a cheap no-brand gun with a lever, I couldn't take it anymore, even after pushing the lever it continued to push out the caulk. So I decided to spend a bit more money in this drip-free gun and it makes such a big difference, smoother application and less time cleaning also, overall much more sturdy than the cheap one I had before, definitely worth it.

In my opinion it is level or two higher than other silicone guns I used in past. It is not heavy duty , more like medium range, so miles more than you need in basic jobs around house, or light industrial tasks. Just press and see smooth extraction or release trigger and flow immediately stops. High quality materials, light in weight,doesn't empties tubes in second, so you have control of that what's happen after press, and not requires strongman as operator.

Bought this as recommended on a video by a pro and it certainly has a no drip tip, so as soon as pressure is off the trigger the sealant stops coming out. BUT I sometimes struggle to get the cartridge in and out, and these are standard caulk/silicone tubes from B&Q, Screwfix etc so nothing fancy! Also the tip cutter is a great idea and works for the nozzle only, as the tube seal doesn't fit in the hole as it's not big enough (and I'm pretty sure it was meant for tube cutting as opposed the nozzle). But for the price it still gets 4*'s because of the non-drip tip, which is the main reason I bought it.

I was cynical that a different gun would make my sealant neater but I thought I’d try it, and it was a huge improvement. This gun is well thought out with tools for prepping the sealant tube, removing and neatening sealant. It’s also much more comfortable to hold than a basic gun.

Brilliant could not have done the job without this tool. Sturdy build quality the attached tools were very useful too

Works great, slow and controlled release, no drip, easy load, handy tools. Mine didn’t come with a caulk plug as described but still giving it 5 stars as it works very well for a good price.
