Edit after using on trip. No room for brushes on the top like pictured. Light wasn’t bright enough to use unless you sit in front of window. Also like mentioned, it’s too heavy for me. I will be handing it off to daughter. This is well made and very sturdy. I love the large mirror and adjustable compartments. Only con I see is that it is very heavy even empty.

Very sturdy construction, very nice mirror, great storage capacity, love the storage for brushes, excellent price compared to similar items being pushed on Facebook, it is a little heavy in weight but I only use to organize for home use. The exterior is way better than I expected. I got the white, and I love it! I didn’t notice an odor like some reviews complained about. I highly recommend, great price, and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is a very high quality makeup case with a very versatile lighted makeup mirror. Don't put much faith in some of the other reviewers’ complaints where they didn't take the time to figure out how the case functions. This case is well made, strong, attractive looking and functions exactly as described with a superb rechargeable lighting system.The built-in lighting is really the star of the show here because it has three different color temperatures (cold light, natural light and warm light) and the intensity of each of the three color temperatures can be individually adjusted between dim and very bright. And, the unit will remember the intensity you set for each of the color temperatures so that even if you turn the unit off and back on again - your three intensity settings will still be right where you last left them.Also, the intensity adjustments are stepless (infinitely variable) just like a dimmer switch in your home. Simply hold down (long press) the touch-sensitive control switch at the bottom of the mirror to either brighten or dim the two strip lights on either side of the mirror. It is a very well thought-out design that evenly illuminates your face so you will know exactly how your makeup looks in the three different color temperatures.The built-in 2000 mAh lithium polymer battery is charged using the supplied USB-C cable but you must provide your own 5V 1.5A charging block for a 110V outlet. While charging, the touch screen button at the bottom of the mirror glows red and when the battery is fully charged it turns green (the poor instructions don't tell you this). And yes, you can turn-on and use the lights in the mirror during charging.The lid of the case, where the battery, electronics and mirror are mounted, makes the case top heavy so in order for the case not to tip backwards, you must put some stuff in the lower section of the case. As soon as you put in some makeup, brushes, compacts, etc., it will be enough to keep the case from tipping backwards.If the instructions had been written more clearly and completely, there wouldn't be as many complaints from other reviewers who were disappointed in the case. Also, I did not have any problem inserting brushes into the removable brush holder with its protective clear plastic flap like other reviewers did.You can configure the interior dividers any way you desire or remove them altogether if you wish.This really is a well designed, sturdy, makeup case which may seem a little pricey but the lighted mirror is the feature that elevates it above other makeup cases. It's an excellent product.

My wife was looking to upgrade her makeup bag and thought this would be nice since it has a built in mirror and is pretty sturdy (she travels quite often). The first time she takes it with her on a trip, disaster. The dividers did not divide and by the time she landed, makeup everywhere. We still like it, but I would say that it is more for "around the house" or for road trips where you are able to handle your own bags.

One of the reasons that I ordered this was because I liked the brush holder. I like that it is not attached and you can prop the brush holder up while doing your makeup. However the brush holder is UNUSABLE! I tried and tried because I really wanted this to work. I travel a lot. I will have to return and look for something else. The openings where you’re supposed to slip the brushes in are so tight that you cannot get brushes in. There’s no way. You might be able to get a thin eye shadow brush in there but that’s it. I’m very disappointed because it would’ve been a nice makeup case for me. I planned on leaving it on my counter and when I travel, I’d just close it up and go. I had another smaller one like it where the brush holder didn’t come out and it doesn’t have a mirror. I used it for years in a similar way. This one is a beautiful case on the outside and seems solid and wipeable. Which is important for an item that is for makeup. I also noted that it is difficult to get the sections to move around to change the configuration. One part of the inside looks curved in a defective way …not by design. So getting the pieces in and out was challenging and it happens that the way I wanted to configure it, was not an option because there were no grooves where I wanted them. It is also over priced. It is a nice piece but even if those issues weren’t there, it’s still expensive. There’s something cheap about the inside construction … perhaps it’s illfitting and bent and that’s why the curve happened inside. Sturdy, nice big mirror and light. The brush holder issue is an absolute deal breaker. It leaves no place to hold your brushes. So I’m stuck and will have to return. If that brush holder was usable, I’d try to make it work. My only other worry is when traveling by plane… it’s a bit large for my carry on. It will fit in there but not sure it’s worth it just for the mirror.I returned within a few days but did not get a full refund.
