Beurer BM27 – Decent Home Monitor, but Not Without Its Quirks
When I first unboxed the BM27, I was excited: a solid German brand, promises of colour risk indicators, arrhythmia detection, and multi-user memory. But after a few weeks of testing, here’s the full scoop—warts and all. --- ✅ What I Liked 1. Clear Display & UI The screen is big and easy to read—even for my slightly blurry mornings. The WHO colour-scale (green / yellow / red) helps me quickly see if I’m in a safe zone or if I should take note. 2. Arrhythmia Detection & Error Alerts If the cuff is positioned wrong, it warns you (E3 error). And if it suspects irregular heartbeat, it shows a symbol. These features bring some confidence that it’s more than just a cheap gadget. 3. Decent Memory / Multi-user Support It supports 4 users, with up to 30 measurements each, so the whole household can use it. It also gives averages (weekly, morning/evening) which is nice for tracking trends. 4. Comfortable Cuff Fit (22–42 cm range) The cuff size is broad enough for most arms. For me, it comfortably wrapped my upper arm (I’m average build) without feeling too tight (unless it overinflated).

Excellent and Easy-to-Use Blood Pressure Monitor
I recently bought the Beurer BM25 Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor, and I am very happy with it. It is super easy to use with just one button. You simply put the cuff on your arm and press the button—no confusion at all. The screen is large and easy to read, which is great for everyone in the family. The monitor gives quick and accurate results. I really like the cuff position control—it helps make sure I’m wearing it the right way each time. It even detects irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias), which gives me extra peace of mind. The cuff fits both me and my partner comfortably since it works for arm sizes from 22 to 42 cm. One of the best things is the USB-C connection. It makes charging or connecting the device super simple. I don’t need to worry about batteries or special cables. I use the same cable I already have for my phone, which makes everything so convenient. This monitor has made checking my blood pressure at home quick and stress-free!

Good but…
Easy to use but seem to get errors frequently, not sure if I’m not fitting the cuff correctly but feels a bit sensitive.

Great!
Having been diagnosed with high blood pressure I like to keep a daily record to give to the practice nurse when I go for a checkup as my readings can be high at the surgery due to 'white coat syndrome' I have found this to be as accurate as my old, basic, monitor and has a bonus feature of irregular heart beat indication. If anything, it has more features than I need (multiple user displays and loads of memories) but I should not complain as such things would be good for a family - I just don't need them as a single user. I would however agree with some reviews that the arm cuff is a bit big. I can only just get a good fit around my rather skinny arm. Definitely designed for the bigger person! Also, the air tube from the cuff to the unit could do to be a tad longer. Battery life (4xAA) is good and it comes with a set which is nice and means it can be used straight from the box. The manual is easy to read and understand with good guidance on how to use it and interpret the readings. Overall and apart from these few - minor and personal - niggles I think this is a great monitor and excellent value for money. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Happy with my purchase
I bought this machine and thought it was faulty so I contacted the company who replied quickly to say they were sending me a replacement and details how to send the other one back via the Royal Mail free of charge. The replacement arrived the next day. I had no problems returning the other to the company. As for the machine itself its easy to use. It tells you that the cuff is being used correctly when its being operated. The results can be scan onto your phone. All in all I am happy with how the company resolved my problem with the unit and the unit itself which I managed to get for half price. A good buy.

Great machine
Husband has issues with BP. This has been a godsend being. Able to take readings at home. Great little machine that is very simple to use. Really handy that it retains results so that you can gauge readings.

Good price, can be powered via a USB Type-C port, and an easy to read display
I purchased a Beurer BM 25 for £16.99. I selected this particular blood pressure monitor because it can run using power supplied via a USB Type-C port (I prefer to avoid using batteries when possible). It does not come with a suitable USB cable, but I already have an appropriate USB cable. I powered the device using a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable connected to my desktop computer. Having used the device once, it appears to work and gave me a reasonable reading. Although I have no way to measure the accuracy, the values given are around what I expected. The reading didn't take too long (maybe around 15 seconds) and the display is easy to read. According to several sources, blood pressure monitors should be recalibrated every two years. However, Beurer do not offer this service and claim their blood pressure monitors do not require recalibration. I expect recalibration would cost more than buying a new blood pressure monitor if the service was available. In any case, home monitoring is likely to be less accurate than parmacy or GP measurements due to many factors such as arm position and cuff fit. I am, so far, satisfied that the Beurer BM 25 will enable me to roughly monitor my blood pressure. For any concerning changes I would (as should anyone) get a professional measurement made at a pharmacy or GP.
