This ointment comes in a easy to squeeze tube. It has a faint scent that dissipates quickly. My reviews are not approved when I list specific uses and benefits, so I'll just say it seems to work as it is expected.

This is an easy to apply cream that helps reduce the visibility of scars. I've been using this for a few weeks, just once per day, and I have noticed a subtle but visible reduction in in the appearance of a scar near my eyebrow. It's not a deep scar but it has been there for a long time so I was surprised to see this work at all. It also one of those cars that's not severe enough to warrant the expense of laser surgery or something like that to blend it in. The line is still there now, but it's not as pronounced as it once was and I have to pause to spot the line. To me that is a highly acceptable outcome given the modest cost of this product.I have a couple other minor scars that I'm going to try this on as well. I wanted to make sure to start with just one area first in case of any adverse skin reactions. So far so good and hopefully it will have the same positive impact on other scars as well. Overall, I would say this is a smart final step before getting aggressive with a dermatologist or surgeon and well worth the cost of giving it a try if you have minor scars you want to reduce.

This product arrived boxed, however neither the box or the 1.35 ounce tube had any kind of safety seal. I realize consumer protections such as foil seals, plastic wraps, etc., are not as common in many other countries and since this product is made in the Netherlands I can only assume it is not a requirement and/or "best practice" in that European country. The product I received did not appear to be tampered with in any detectable way however, so I felt confident using it. Also, as another reviewer mentioned I did not find an expiration date on either the box or tube, however there are matching numbers on both box and tube that may be something like a batch number, which potentially correlates back to an production and/or expiration date.Much of the information on the box is translated into several languages, including the native Dutch, as well as French, German and English. Direction on the tube say to "apply and message several times per day. Do not use on open wounds. Store dry, cool and dark."The box states that this formulas was developed over a century by Plastic Surgeons from Burn Center Beverwijk. In my opinion the ingredient list does include a number of potentially beneficial active ingredients, oils, extracts, butters and more. Per the listing information "this scar cream is ideal for post-procedure care, including laser treatment, radiation therapy, surgery, cosmetic procedures, and C-sections... support recovery, soothe, and nourish the skin...provide a calming and moisturizing effect...for optimal recovery and rejuvenation." Personally, while I will use the cream on some old scars, I will also be utilizing this cream in a somewhat "off label" use on my cheeks where I have some rosacea type redness and irritation that I expect ingredients in this product can potentially help sooth and possibly mitigate to some degree. I'll update my review if helpful, but it will likely take numerous applications before any improvements may be noted.The cream is very light and silky and does absorb quickly. To me the cream had a rather significant fragrance, which may bother some people, however in my opinion it was not overpowering and dissipated fairly quickly. Although it is quite far down the list "Parfum" is shown as one of the ingredients.

The top 5 ingredients are basically water, silicone, and emulsifiers/lubricants to give the cream a smooth touch on the skin. It's only with the 6th ingredient (Simmondsia chinensis seed oil) we get to something with healing properties. Thus, I take its healing claim with a grain of salt as most seem to be artificial smoothing. But as someone who often forgets to apply cream consistently, the positive feeling associated with applying the cream encourages me to apply the cream more frequently, which I say is a positive towards faster healing time.

The sum of items would cost quite a bit more if purchasing this quality in each category. I find the product to be worth the investment and more than effective in each area. My preference for a thick cream had me as an initial skeptic but my use and relief has given me a new outlook.

Crema cicatrizzante. Fra gli altri ingredienti spiccano acido ialuronico, silicone, betaglucani, calendula. Aspetti positivi:- la crema è di buona qualità, con ingredienti molto validi. L’ho applicata alle (fin troppe) cicatrici più o meno recenti, postumi di escoriazioni, botte e cadute che mi sono procurato durante le mie attività sportive. L’effetto dopo l’applicazione è molto positivo: idratante, lenitivo, levigante. In base agli ingredienti dovrebbe anche favorire il rinnovamento cellulare, ma questo è più difficile da valutare nel breve periodo.- buona confezione, molto comoda, con apertura a scatto. Può essere riposta in verticale.Aspetti negativi: indicazioni in italiano praticamente assenti e prezzo attuale (circa 45 euro) piuttosto sostenuto.In conclusione, si tratta di una crema di ottima qualità, con un mix di ingredienti sicuramente efficaci per il trattamento di cicatrici e scottature.

Ich hatte kürzlich einen dummen Unfall, der eine OP an der Handfläche nach sich gezogen hat. Da die Haut der Handfläche von der Chirurgin durch mehrere Schnitte geöffnet werden musste, habe ich jetzt ein paar ausgeprägte Lebenslinien mehr.Ich habe die Creme hier zum Testen bestellt, um den Heilungsprozess zu fördern und die Haut der Handfläche geschmeidig zu halten. Das Ergebnis ist gut - wobei ich aber nicht festmachen kann wie groß der Beitrag der Creme dazu ist.Die Salbe lässt sich gut dosieren und auftragen. Man braucht gar nicht viel davon, bei einer so beanspruchten Partie wie der Hand muss man sie jedoch öfter mal auftragen. Sie ist recht dünnflüssig - ohne direkt selbst zu Verlaufen - und lässt sich gut einarbeiten und verteilen. Der Geruch ist angenehm neutral.Bei mir hat die Salbe das Spannungsgefühl in der Haut in der Hand minimiert. Ob sie dies besser macht als Konkurenzprodukte kann ich nicht bewerten. Die Narben sind auch jetzt noch erkennbar, wenn auch nicht besonders auffällig. Ich habe allerdings auch erst mit der Salbe angefangen, als die Wunden schon über eine Woche geschlossen waren. Empfohlen wird ein Behandlungsbeginn sofort nach dem Abheilen. Allerdings wäre das bei mir auch schwierig gewesen, da die Wunden auf der kleinen Fläche sich recht ungleichmäßig geschlossen haben.
