Surprisingly useful! I don't trust it for liquids or things which I do not want to fall / spill
BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE OCCASSIONAL CALLS / MEALS IN YOUR CAR! For the price and not having seen something like this in use, I opted to give this a shot for use as a "desk" of sorts when I have to take a call in my car -- very handy when I have a midday appointment and a call just before or after that appointment time. I have a 2007 Highlander and scrutinized the dimensions on the listing and compared to my vehicle -- it fits and is pretty straightforward / quick to mount onto my steering wheel. It's not always as stable as I would like -- which might be a function of its design being meant to fit "most" vs specifically for my make and model vehicle -- but I trust it for my laptop or a notepad during a meeting.SUMMARY = VERY HANDY FOR INEXPENSIVE "IN-CAR OFFICE" OR QUICK MEAL DURING ROAD TRIP! Can be trusted for things like a laptop or similar. Keep a hand on your food item and its container if you use it for drive-thru, as it's not truly level and can move around a bit under weight. DO NOT USE FOR DRINKS rather rely on your cup holder or ask for a drink tray to use on passenger seat or center console.Especially when I was comparing this price to US$100 "passenger seat desk solutions" which would have to be moved / stowed when I have a passenger (rare) or a load of groceries / purchases (often), this is VERY attractive to the point of "as I write this review, I may buy one for everyone I know who goes on road trips" level of handy.WHAT I LIKE = [1] Great price! [2] It's really small and easy for to me stow either in the passenger seat or just behind the passenger seat for easy access. [3] Quick to add to steering wheel. [4] I can fully open my laptop and type with both hands rather than trying to manage the amount I can open the laptop vs my steering wheel plus balancing the laptop itself. [5] One side is molded for desk / business use including a pen slot and the other side is molded for food use including a drink base (like what you'd see on vintage aircraft tray). [6] Very easy to clean -- I wipe it down after use with handwipes. Could hose off or handwash in sink; would not run through dishwasher or soak as it may be permeable and/or may not survive a "high heat dry" cycle.WHAT I WOULD IMPROVE = As I'm writing the review above, I'm brainstorming on how to increase my trust of the tray when it is mounted / attached to my steering wheel -- likely a "hack" like one or two velcro straps to secure to the steering wheel on each side would be helpful, but would require a modification to the tray like a slot / piercing for a 1" strap to slide through. I will likely try a few things which do not involve cutting into the tray, like adding thin self-adhesive foam (or even a couple lengths of duct or electrical tape?) along the portions of the tray which contact the steering wheel -- a bit more friction in those spots might allow for a more stable / "trustworthy" mount ... but I'm still a ways away from trusting it for anything other than a water bottle with its cap tightened for food. So I'm thinking may US$5 of supplies -- some of which I already have for cable management and such -- might take the sturdiness up to five stars.EXAMPLES OF HOW I USE THIS PRODUCT AND OTHER ACCESSORIES IN MY CAR =- WORK CALL = I have a in-vent mount for my cell phone to the left of my steering wheel, so I'm hands-free and have access to call controls. On the tray, I most often have my laptop which allows me to fully open the top (i.e., I can see the full screen AND the webcam could be used to show my face if I wanted to) and I can type with both hands, use the trackpad, etc. (it's a bit cramped, but not too different from working on a plane or in a tight commuter train / bus setting). On my center console, I often have a drink tray (thank you drive-through coffee spot!) which doubles my cup holder space: I use the front two for drinks and lay a notepad across the back two and pen between the drinks and the notepad. I have ready access to my bag either on the front passenger seat or stowed behind the passenger seat, if I need to refer to any documents / notes during the call. BENEFITS INCLUDE = I can share my video without it wobbling around due to my laptop being on my lap while I'm typing; I can drink my beverage, eat a snack, access things in my bag, etc without having to wrangle my laptop; I can type and use trackpad easily; I can take notes either to the side of the laptop on the tray or on the console / my bag / etc. without having to balance the laptop. CHALLENGES INCLUDE = There's no getting out of your car easily with this setup and if you drop your pen or anything else, it's "gone" until you can take down your tray and find it on the floor / wherever it went.- ROADRIP MEAL = I keep a hand on the food container and utensils at all times and do one thing at a time to set up my meal. For example, salad drive-thru = drink into cup holder / center console; bag onto passenger seat / center console; park and set up tray; take out salad only and open; put container lid back in bag; if salad dressing, apply and discard dressing containers (I put them back into bag); THEN take out the utensils and napkins and start eating. Learn from my "OH NO MY FORK" experiences ... during a thunderstorm ... LOLTIP = Have duplicates of things like napkins, pens, and utensils in the door pocket, center console, etc. within your reach when you have your seatbelt on -- that's about the range of motion you will have with the tray mounted on the steering wheel.

Sits high at least on bigger steering wheels
Not sure if im using it wrong but it sits a little high on my 2021 Dodge Ram steering wheel. A guy was walking past me while I wad eating lunch in my truck and recommended I get one of these. Not sure if there are bigger sizes was a Christmas gift and it's actually nice that it sits high because the food is at mouth level and I can just shovel it in 😁

Works well
It felt quite thin and flimsy when I took it out of the packaging however it fits the steearing wheel really well. I found that I don't have to turn the wheel 180 degrees to fit it either and it's very lightweight.I work in social care and tend to take my breaks in my car, I use the tray for lunch time and it holds the phone as well. The appearance is a bit boring with plain black and you can see the seems from the moulding however I still think that it's good value for money. Very happy with the purchase.
