I got this phone over a month ago and so far I have to say that this really is a great phone. It has features most phones in this range lack. My favourites: - Camera (quality looks nostalgic) - Music player - Bluetooth (file sharing and connecting to other devices) The rear speakers are surprisingly loud. In comparison, the in-ear ones are a bit quieter, but it's no big deal. Connecting to other devices with Bluetooth and sharing files is quick. Battery last really long. One full charge lasts weeks even through heavy use for me. The design looks sleek and super cute, and feels nice in hand. Pretty durable, I've been clumsy with it a couple times but it survived, but the back might need a bit of care to avoid scratches I'd say this is great for anyone who's not looking for a smart phone but is still wants some fun :))

Some parts are broken inside and create noise. I use return and replacement, but the received replacement product also has the same issue. Not sure they're sending the same product again.

Writing review after 20 days Pro's Good battery life upto 10 - 12 days with minimum usage/ 4 - 5 days with maximum usage Build quality good Sound quality good but not so loud Screen brightness/vibration/ringtone volume/ cellular network/call clarity, volume good Con's The unit i had got sim slot was very tight it is difficult to put the sim in the slot. After trying so many times sim may get inserted in the slot .. by trying like this the second sim slot one leg has got broken.. second sim slot is not working now.. after contacting service centre they are saying it is physical damage we can't repair this under warranty. They will repair the sim slot with charge of Rs250.. phone cost is only1159 who else want to repair with such price... So after all these if u want buy these phone you can but for those who always change thier phone for some reason this is not for you because if u try to remove sim so many times sim slot space is tight so the phone sim slot leg gets broken and u can't use the phone without repairing it If you are wishing this phone to buy for kannada language support then don't go for it because this phone doesn't support kannada language perfectly and typing in kannada is also difficult and language script also looks like other language..

2g connectivity enabled basic feature phone with dual SIM and 32gb expandable storage with vga camera. The phone has torchlight with dedicated switch for torch. 1750mah battery with standby for 8 days. Charging time almost 1.5hours.price around 1200 INR. The phone is compact and user friendly. Radio is there. I love the design. What can be improved: The sound grill is in the backside. It should be in the sideways. The phone should have 4g connectivity with improved features like you tube and battery capacity 2100mah. UPI enabled feature should be added. This phone should be enhanced with loaded features. If possible, tie up with any music app for unlimited music like Saregama caravaan or yt music. Phone tracker should be there. For any student or any elder people who don't want to use smartphone, can carry this as their first phone. With this improvements and price range upto 3500 inr, it might capture the feature phone market. Thank you Lava for this phone.

I was looking for a ordinary (dumb) phone for my alternate number which I don't use much, to replace my ten year old Samsung keypad phone which was having its buttons worn out and not working properly. After some reasearch I identified Lava A3- It was a very sensible and great choice. Apart from the standard features of a feature phone (note it is NOT a smart phone so no touch screen or WhatsApp or YouTube media or internet) this phone has some great features like (having used it for more than a month) *Excellent battery life - upto 10 days with minimum usage! *clear and loud calling both hands free and otherwise. *included camera - not a very great one as it is not a hi end phone but chaltha hai. *best feature - dedicated TORCh with a separate switch on the side.. no need to fiddle with buttons or screen. it is very bright and has 3 modes. very useful. *two SIM slots - works with 4G both BSNL and Airtel. *dedicated memory card slot. *unique feature - FM radio works on speakerphone mode without having to plug in headset! While this may be a very nice feature- there is an issue here since the phone does not use the long headset wire as antenna- it uses a short coiled antenna inside phone- so FM radio reception is weak and it does not get many stations..Certainly a negative as I am used to listening to FM radio on my phone. *good music player and media player to swipe through your photos/multimedia videos etc. All in all - it is really feature packed and has all that I need. Remains to be seen how good this Lava phone is in the long run.
