I guess compared to a different brand I used it was the same. (One I purchased from Amazon)A little over priced though compared to other waxes. Good quality, easy to use, nice white color. Had no problem with this product….dried smooth, no cracks but as mentioned over priced.

I bought Bayjouk soy wax candle from Amazon to learn about candle making for beginners in February 2024. Unfortunately, I had similar negative experiences as other people, with wax being of poor quality. I am sad that this wax is not good. I have to return it.

I bought this because it was a lot less pricier for the amount of wax you got, and boy did I regret it!As you can see, from the pictures, not only did the wax develop a huge hole in the middle of the candle, when dried, but it also shrink in the amount in the candle. And the package came to me, opened a lot of the pieces of the wax were in the box and not in the bag. also, I saw that someone said on here the candle wax held the smell very well, but I found that to be very untrue. The wax I used before held the smell a lot better than this one. I can barely smell anything in these candles, and I use the same amount of fragrance product (same brand as well) in these as I did the others. This definitely is a lesson of you get what you pay, for. I would not choose this product ever again for my candles or recommended to anybody else! Very dissatisfied with this product. I can’t emphasize that enough!

The wax don’t hold scent well, clumps up when heating, and for some reason occasionally produces bubbles in wax when pouring in clamshells.

I’ve been making candles for awhile and this wax didn’t work well for me. It took 5 times longer to melt than flake wax and it left large sink holes when it dried. I have to return it.
