This is a great product at a really great price. I don't know what some of these 1-stars are talking about, but there are always those who just can't figure things out or have unrealistic expectations. First of all, it came almost completely assembled. You just have to slide the keyboard tray into two slots and lock it down with the levers. Done. Even at full height I find it to be sturdy and I have complete confidence in it. The electric operation is quite smooth and I have no problem leaving my full coffee cup on the tray during up/down operation. Yes, there is a little shake when you type on the keyboard in the standing position. But folks, that is called leverage. It's simple physics. It's not distracting and you get used to it pretty quickly. The only way to avoid that would be to add thick metal stiffeners and have the thing weigh a couple of hundred pounds. What do you want? It came with a wide variety of ties and clips for cable management too. It would be nice if the lift had a one touch down feature, or presets for the height, but for the price, this is still a really great value. I have heard of a few having issues with the motor burning out, but I don't really expect that. It sounds smooth and electric motors are simple machines that tend to last a long time. Time will tell.

Purchased this riser for my office desk. I had one previously that was not electric. It became impossible to use so I got this as a replacement. It has been a night and day difference! So happy with this riser. It was easy to assemble by myself. The buttons and motor work perfectly. And it goes high enough to get my monitors exactly where they are comfortable for me. I have had it a few months and not any problems. There is plenty of room for 2 monitors. I like the positioning of the keyboard surface. It has been very comfortable for me. And there is plenty of other space to set my phone, coffee mug, and note pad.

It's perfect. I work on an old drafting table in my studio which I also use for sewing and other art projects. When I started working from home I was accustomed standing most of the time to do my drafting and we have automated ergonomic work spaces in our offices so it was imperative that I figure something out. My husband put the giant table up on 4x4's to start with, eventually adding another 4x4 for just under 8 inches of height, perfect for drafting but impossible for sewing. As we now have the option to continue to work from home as much as we wish I invested in this product. I bought the 40". And I chose this brand because it offered the extended keyboard shelf for the larger size desk top. I have 2-24" monitors and the large Logitech ergonomic keyboard. The keyboard takes up the entire center section of the shelf and my mouse sits on the right wing. It could be a little wider. There is still plenty of room on the top shelf for my redlines, scratch paper and whatnot so my work area has been substantially cleaned up (bonus). It is easy to assemble as others have said. Basically 2 pieces, the main unit and the keyboard tray. The tray "slides" in but I had to get the rubber mallet to (gently) pound in the left side. It seems sturdy. I do wish the keyboard tray was deeper altogether because it would be nice to have somewhere to rest my wrists. If you need something like this I highly recommend it.

I needed one that would fit on the credenza arm of my desk (see first photo) which not very deep and at the same time be large enough to accommodate two 27-inch monitors. After spending a lot of time reading the specifications of various competing monitors I also decided to go with a motorized stand and this one works well. It's operation is smooth and quiet. I love that I can give my back some rest by standing to get work done instead of sitting all day. The second photo shows it in the lowered position -- notice that the keyboard is in the "normal" typing height just as if it were on the typing credenza perfect for typing. I like that the keyboard tray sticks out a little because with two large monitors I need to sit back a little (in fact my only complaint is that the keyboard tray can not slide in and out so that I can move it out if I want to sit a little farther back).

This is my first standing desk and I wonder how my back has survived without one. I work 12 hour shifts and got tired of always sitting. After reading many reviews, I selected the FLEXISPOT 40 inch electric height adjustable standing desk and am very pleased. The only thing I wish it had was a memory height selection. Other than that, it gives plenty of room for two 27 inch monitors and the keyboard shelf has enough room for the keyboard, large mouse pad, and my cell phone. The electric motor is quiet and the desk raises and lowers smoothly. Amazingly, the desk is very sturdy when raised and doesnโt shake around when typing on the keyboard or using the mouse, which was a large concern of mine when considering a standing desk. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this product!
