3rd edit: The company replaced the first defective unit after quite a while.The replacement unit arrived and worked great for about a month. Then I changed the ozone plate. The ozone never worked again. I have used this type of purifier for decades so I am very familiar with how to clean them and how to properly change plates. It was definitely NOT user error.I gave up even trying to replace it.I have ordered a unit from a different company.2nd edit: I did receive a replacement and it works great. They took a while, but finally came through.My unit was out of warranty (30 days?) when it stopped working, but they eventually sent me a new one anyway.The unit itself is doing the job, keeping our house from smelling musty and moldy.Unlike what you hear, you CAN leave the ozone on all the time. It will not hurt you in small amounts. If you don't lock yourself in a closet with the machine running full blast, it can't make enough ozone to hurt you. We have run these machines continuously in our house for over 20 years.Here's how to do it. Turn the machine on and start the ozone at the lowest setting. Leave it for a day or two. Gradually up the level of ozone over the next few days. When you start smelling the ozone, back it off a little bit. There is a perfect spot where your air will smell like a fresh spring day...that's what you are after.The level may change with the weather. Humidity soaks up ozone, in dry air, a little goes a long way. So feel free to adjust it with changing weather.These devices usually last for several years, but mine stopped dead after 2 months.1st Edit: I emailed them (not easy to find) and they agreed to replace my unit. I took it to the return around Sept 11. Had not heard back from them, so i emailed again.They had received the unit quite a while back, but did not start the process of shipping my replacement until I bugged them on Sep 25. Acted like they had forgotten about it.NOT impressed with their response.Meanwhile my house smells.

update: Seller sent a replacement power supply immediately. Excellent service. I hope this one lastsThis is a great product, does everything advertised. we have four cats and two dogs and keeping up with the pet smells is a lot of work. The ionizer / Ozone absolutely makes the house smell fresh and as if we have no pets. I would give 5 stars but this is the second power supply that's starting to fail. as always, cheap Chinese crap takes an otherwise great product into the realm of "junk"What happens is the power supply slowly loses the ability to provide enough power to run the fan AND the ozone maker. the first symptom is as you turn up the ozone the fan slows down because the cheap power supply is unable to provide enough for both. eventually, it completely stops making ozone, as the moment you turn the knob on, the fan stops.what are we talking here.. a $3 dollar power wart. I'm on my second unit, of course Amazon will replace the entire device. I'm going to see if the manufacturer will replace the power supply rather than returning the whole device.. it's wasteful to return the entire device for a failed $3 power wart.As always, Chinese "quality"

I had been looking for this product for a month because of my asthma, and, there it was on Amazon. So easy to install, and working great.

I love this product I must admit the first one I received only worked for a week. I returned they sent a new one quickly this one is awesome. I did not hold the first one against them sometimes that happens. I definitely recommend this one. I suggested this a co-worker because he has cats he had no problems and loves it.
