Seems like a lot of other people had a good experience buying this. I bought it kind of a long time ago and didn't have a need for it until yesterday. And found out the part where the bits go is SUPPOSED to hold them in place magnetically. Mine does not. So I have to hold the bit in place while I use it. I also didn't get the anti-static wrist wrap, spudgers, SD Card / SIM Card remover pin, and suction cup puller tool that shows in the picture. Mine also doesn't have a logo on it. I really don't care about the logo but the packaging on the one I received is by a company called ProTools. Not TychoTech. So I think I may have gotten a knock off brand or something. Probably too late to return. I bought it over 6 months ago and just unpackaged it yesterday. I should have checked it when I got it. 2020 is finally over!

The tool set is nice and the added components come in handy. However, there are drawbacks. The bits themselves are not hardened, meaning that the tips are beginning to bend and chip at stubborn screws. The plastic case is not that durable and already cracked; its made of normal hard plastic. The last is there is no storage to keep them all together, the main set is in the plastic case and the additional tools are by themselves; these can get easily lost. Overall, its not worst and its not the best but it does get the job done and reflects the right price point.

I was worried about buying a kit for this as many others in this price range reported immediate stripping or tool breakage. I haven't use mine a whole lot yet, but so far all the components have held together well. This is my nicest set. I wish the case were a bit nicer and that the extra components had a case besides the bag it all came in, but overall that's a minor inconvenience.Next time I build a new computer I'll give this a good workout. If it breaks, I will update! So far with small jobs, it has worked well!

I use this daily for work, and find it to be a great selection of bits, and it covers all the sizes I need. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the latch on the case is not very strong, and I've had it come open and spill the bits out. The toolset itself is 5 stars - the case that holds it is 3 stars due to the weak latch. 4 stars overall.

I bought this screwdriver set a while ago. It has been sitting on the shelf after only 2 brief uses. on my 3rd use, I went to pull out the driver header and the spring from the locking mechanism broke.

Ordered this kit with a 15" MacBook Pro Retina's display, and both arrived on time. The screwdriver and the bit were the right size and made replacing the screen a breeze. I'm not sure about the durability of the plastic pieces, yet the screw driver and the bits are awesome! If you wanted to replace the screen of your MacBook pro, this tool will make it easier. I used this to work on a couple laptops and it worked perfectly. Can't say whether this would hold up for heavy daily use for a professional, but for a weekend tinkerer this works well enough and was better than what I would have expected for the price.

This is a nice set of tools in a well thought out case. The tools fit together good and feel tight when you use them. The wrist strap is a little on the small side in size in fit and voltage use. If you are just working on low voltage and amperage stuff you should be ok if you watch you static electricity around you. This would be a great set of tools to have around when your not sure what you will need to work on in fine electronics. It should tackle most any small project and upgrade for the price you are paying it is well worth buying a few to stash around or give to friends. It will not embarrass you as a gift to that hobbyist or DIY friend.
