Powakit PowerCase Pro 5500mAH battery case for iPhone 7 / 6S / 6 easy fast power charging

Hello guys i came across this on amazon as i was looking for a case and wanted more battery for my iPhone but all the other ones i found all had mixed reviews and didn't want to risk the chance! i only saw a few reviews on this product and they were all pretty good! The packaging came pretty strong and protected!PROS -Fairly quick charging time varying from 6-7 hoursStrong case structurallyLarge battery which can charge your phone 3 times and can also charge someone else's with the usb port on the caseAll buttons are accessible and easy to useGood LED lights to tell you how much charge it has leftAll these pros are good and all but it has its cons!CONS-My phone gets quite hot while its chargingThe case makes a squealing noise while charging which gets on my nervesIts quite heavy and uncomfortable in your pocket!I would give the case a 9/10Thanks for taking the time for reading my review!

Overall, I very much like this product. The increased battery life has meant my reliance on always carrying charging cables or separate battery packs around is greatly reduced.It is a fair weight, so if you're accustomed to the size and feel of the iPhone without a case this will take some getting used to. For me personally, I actually prefer it, as I find the phone too small for my hands.In terms of charge, I normally get 3 full charges from the case before I need to recharge it. It typically charges the phone relatively quickly.It's worth noting that the input and output current of the case is only 1Amp. So you wont get any fast charging from any higher power chargers you might have.The case is fairly resilient to dropping. Not that I would recommend it. But it's proven reasonably durable.As others have mentioned, it does make an intermittent high pitched squealing sound when charging, which has been a real pain as I normally charge my phone on my bedside table.My only real complaint with the design of the case, is that the space given to the headphone port is insufficient for many types of jack. My standard over ear headphones don't fit, neither do my previous L-shaped Jack earphones (which are very common now), unless you point the jack upwards, which causes additional ware on the jack.Still overall I would recommend this product, providing its right for you.

Very nice and aesthetically a very attractive adjunct to the Iphone 6. Lovely, tactile feel to it; fits like a glove; thus far is doing its job impeccably and looks part and parcel of the original phone.

The recharging ability of the phone was fine, but the male jack connecter thing broke pretty sharpish considering the price

I have absolutely no idea why this product has had no reviews or ratings so far. Its absolutely the best.I have a photography business that sees me using my mobile not only for extended phone calls, as a personal hotspot for MacBook email and as a satnav. My iPhone 5 and Mophie case was failing so I bought a 6s and this Powacase 7000mah case instead of buying another Mophue - I am so glad I did.The reason was simply because Mophie uses micro USB and outside the annoyance of having to carry two cables around / separate chargers in the car, I have had two separate units break at this connector. When i found that the Powakit was the standard iPhone 6s connector, I was sold.1. The unit has a massive 7000mah battery - I have been live for nearly three days so far, its charged the phone fully once, i'll charge the phone again today no doubt, and the case is still 75% charged. I think I could perhaps last a week without power and conservative use!2. It has an additional USB port out, which means I can charge other devices using the case too - this is genius. The port is well positioned as well.3. Its really well made, looks tough and its nice to hold, but there could be a little bit more friction for my tastes.4. All the buttons and ports are open access. The Mophie I owned before was nothing but trouble, the silent switch would close but not open, the volume up / down buttons were irritating to use. Powakit has also designed the headphone jack access so it doesn't need an extender, which naturally I lost just weeks after purchasing the Mophie.5. It has a discrete stand on the back of the case, so you can stand the phone on a table. Its perfectly angled so you can use Skype / Youtube.6. It's £40... What a bargainMy only gripe is the weight of the case + phone together, but I am getting used to it. The combo is not light and often feels a little unbalanced when typing with the phone in vertical orientation. That's my only gripe... thats it...., but as I say I am getting used to it. Perhaps consider a 3000mah battery pack for less weight? I don't know if they are any lighter, so don't quote me on this.This Powakit case is the best on the market - it allows days and days of extended battery life with conservative use, which is exactly what I need. Powakit designed a brilliant, professional tool, with quality, considerate design and style.

Excellent product and seller.

bought this for my son in Oct 16 and after 4 months the button on the front stopped working. my son is very responsible and looks after his things. I am very disappointed in this product. not worth the money :(

good but bulky, makes phone much longer
