Great book for the Beginner
My husband bought a Subaru and decided to start looking into Rally Racing. He just loved this book and literally could not stop reading it because of all the "low-cost" tips and the fun information. It arrived quickly and on time in perfect condition.

in the best way possible
I'm driving the 2016 Mongol Rally. This book scared the sh*t out of me... in the best way possible. If I follow the relatively easy to follow advice, I'll be able to mod my cars and make it across some of the hottest and roughest desert driving on earth. Without this book... I might have blown up in the middle of Iran.

decent little book
This was a fun read, good little tips almost exclusivly about long distance endurance rallys, and some fun storys. I was expecting somithing a little more substantial in thickness. But good anyway

Good advice on rallying. Basic and elementary most of the time though.

This book should be named "how to prepare a £500 car for banger rallies" as it bears little relevance to rallying as most of the world understands it. It also contains some alarming advice on the use of asbestos wrap, which should not be heeded as asbestos is a severe health risk. There are other dubious claims made in this book that shouldn't be heeded, such as the unreliability of electric radiator fans.

Interesting if you're curious: worth its weight in gold if you're entering an adventure rally
The title is a little misleading, because the book concentrates on adventure rally preparation, rather than single stage or road rally preparation, although quite a lot of the advice can be carried over.I am not sure that it is worth £20-odd - I paid a tenner new from Amazon in 2011, but it is certainly a useful book.

Good book
I bought this before going on the mongol rally to prepare my car. Some good information but it seems a little disorganised.

A fun little book with some great tips for keeping older cars going in all conditions. Quality is a little on the "cheap and cheerful" side.
