Fantastic quality.
Positives: Quality made and sturdy - can handle a large heavy person.Negatives: Solid sleeping surface which can be quite uncomfortable. I use a single inflatable mattress on top of this which works extremely well.

Quite heavy, but easy it put up
It's quite heavy, but easy to put up.You'll need a roll or mattress of some sort as it's not very comfortable without.

Feels really solid
Really easy to put up and take down again (once you read the instructions!!). Feels very very solid. I'm a bigger lady and my husband is an even bigger bloke. It says it takes up to 32 stone. Not sure about that but if you're up to 25 stone I'd say you'd be ok, it's a bit too narrow if your bigger than that. Comfort-wise, personally I would maybe add a cheap roll up yoga mat for a bit of extra squish if you were using for more than a night, the canvas pulled taut is quite hard. I'm going to get another of these for camping. I would highly recommend. Small enough to easily store, about 3ft tall by about 10 inches square in a canvas bag.

Good value and great weight limit
Certainly wide enough for "not slim people" <Grin> Bought one to test, then bought 2 more. They are on the bulky and weighty side so def for a camping holiday where you can unpack from the car rather than carry stuff a distance. Would be good for a guest bed in the home too. Head end slightly slopes so I only need one pillow instead of two and being a ladies size 16 still plenty of room to turn over in the night without falling off if you are a restless sleeper like me! But its very sturdy so I do feel safe on it. I would not be comfortable without a SIM for anything more than half an hour but if you like a firm mattress you might get away with it. Stitching seems good and no faults on any of them after 7 nights sleep from 3 varied sized people, from average to very heavy. There are no straps on the ends or corners to hold the SIM on so I bought cheap wide roll of elastic and sewed 6 loops one for top and bottom of each bed to stop the SIM slipping off which worked a treat. They are quite hard to put up the first few times. After unfolding I could not get the middle joints to click flat without sitting one one side then the other but thats not a biggie and I would rather it have tight than loose joints. Once flat, very study so I assembled in the main tent area then picked them up and carried them into the bedrooms. Due to them being higher off the floor making them easier to stand up from check the height of your bedrooms in your tent to ensure you dont have the inner draping over you.Would recommend them to anyone/everyone.

Good strong bed for the big man - but you need a slimline mattress for comfort
Any frame items like this I am unsure of when I sit/lie on them. I am not a small guy by any means but on night 1 I had full confidence in this bed. It made no weird noises and I manged to get a real good night sleep. HOWEVER, if you are big, you are probably wide. If you are wide, the sides will dig into you causing pressure point bruising. I realised this before using the bed properly so took my slim-line self inflating mattress (basically foam and air sack that is about an inch thick when inflated). Stick that on top of the bed and it was perfect. Lying slightly wider than the bed itself, it covered the joints that would have caused bruising.Ultimately, I ended up getting a good sleep.Just one BUT - for two of these, they take up quite a lot of space in the boot of the car, even when collapsed for travel.

More comfy than expected
I am currently planning a family camping trip to a rural island and I didn't want to rely on the conventional air mattresses that we have always used in case of failure and no ability to replace or repair.I started to do my research into alternative beds from z beds to other inflatable options. After a lot of considerations I bought 1 of these to try out and see if it was any good.It arrived before the recommended time and the product description was to the letter.opened up and my three children took turn to sleep on it to give it a good test out.Now it has become a permanent fixture during the holidays and the kids camp in each others rooms for sleep overs.Only downside is it is a little heavy but otherwise a superb produce, strong reliable and comfy .these do take up more room than an air bed to transport.I have now bought 5 in total for our camping adventures.

Better than a blow up bed but a mattress is required
Easy to put up and take down. At least there is nothing to pop like an air mattress. There isn't much space, basically you sleep like a vampire. But your off the ground and that's it.

Very noisy and rigid fabric and not very comfortable, even with the mattress.
I found it almost impossible to sleep on this bed, even with the optional mattress. I think the main issue was the amount of noise the very rigid material makes when moving.I'm sure the bed would be fine for lounging during the day, but not for sleeping. Sadly for me, it was not fit for the intended purpose.
