The boards are wooden, the black and white contrast is beautiful, the balls are like those from a child's 'ball & pit'. It is held up by shoesstrings which is a bit tedious. And 20 sticks does not seem to be enough as the balls fall out before the game even starts. I thought it would be fun for my lil one's party but now that I have this I think the children are going to get frustrated with this very quickly.

Didn't like this item, there wasnt enough sticks the holes are too big. Nothing to collect the fallen balls. All tied up by 6 shoe laces. I wasnt impressed! item sent back had a retund
