I’ve had this for several months and I use it every single day. The letters are nice and big. It helps me to familiarize myself with the prayers more. I take with me to church and confession (and anywhere church related-you never know:-) saints prayers are in the back. I recommend this little prayer book.

This is by far the greatest prayer book for Catholics. I’ve seen yet. It has everything you need to know about being a Catholic had to pray what to pray for. Love this new large print edition with its elegant cover. Including both the prayers of the Mass (with restored responses, such as when the priest intones "the Lord be with you" the people again respond "and with your Spirit" instead of the dumbed down language of the 70's). This prayerbook contains a wealth of historic prayers as well as wonderful catechetical material outlining salvation history. During Liturgy Catholics pray the Confiteor communally but I am delighted that for personal prayer the Confiteor is prayed as an individual as we call upon the whole Communion of Saints in heaven to aid us on our spiritual journey. That certainly includes John the Baptist, Sts. Peter and Paul, and all those who pray for the Church Militant before the throne of God. This prayerbook has enough material to last a lifetime. With prayers for Morning, Noon and Evening the Catholic Book of Prayer offers a structured pattern of daily prayer to which one can return again and again as it becomes a school of prayer for those who want to make daily prayer a way of life.

Loved this prayer book. Got it when I came back to the Catholic faith. So many prayers including the Rosary. A guide to the Mass, Eucharist adoration prayers! I've bought a few to give away!

Initially, I was disappointed. I incorrectly thought that some of the prayers were incorrect. I debated returning but decided that what I thought was wrong was minor given the quality of the book. I am so happy that I kept this book. I love it and since reordered. Thank you for creating such a wonderful book! Sincerely,

A great book to help you with your prayers either saying the rosary, The Stations of the Cross or even helping in Mass

This has a lot of information and large print font so it is easy to read.

Great collection for a new Catholic like me. Portable and easy to read.

The most easy to read prayer book you will ever come across, it’s so beautiful inside with its yellow bookmark ribbon, large printed letters and colourful illustrations that make it enjoyable and lovely, “especially for elderly people who’s sight may be declining”. The vinyl edition gives it the brown leather look and great protection for the pages, and it will fit into any small handbag or large coat pocket. Beautiful gift bought for my great aunt along with a mother of pearl rosary to cheer her up in hospital as she can’t make chapel. Absolutely would buy this again.

This is a classic from the Catholic Book Publishing Co., and deservedly so. It ingeniously combines convenient siaze with large print. Indeed, I would like to thank the publisher for providing such a beautiful prayer book in a font that can be easily read by seniors, children or anyone who is vision impaired. It is certainly very thoughtful of them to make this prayer book so easy to read. This prayer book can be taken to church, on trips or daily commutes, due to its compact size and the large font used for the prayers can be easily read almost anywhere. It is illustrated with a variety of devotional darwings as well as full colour pictures, mostly based on Bible themes or standard Catholic devotional practices. The actual contents cover all the basics, from the text of the Mass to the mysteries of the rosary. The only possible improvement I could suggest would be a different set of morning and evening prayers for each day of the week, rather than using the same prayers each day. These could be taken from Christian Prayer, the Church's official daily prayer book. I sincerely hope that the publisher will consider this change. Very few prayer books combine the many qualities to be found in this one.

Good sturdy cover. Excellent book for a quick review reference and daily prayers. I already have one but bought this to give to a family member.
