This is just an honest review, I normally don't write reviews, but felt compelled to write this one because I really recommend this product. Perhaps the company took others' reviews to heart and changed the packaging, because it was really well packaged and not chipped or broken. There were no instructions, so I came back to Amazon to look at them here. The holder is crystal clear -- but you must remove the plastic film (it's not that hard to get it started, start at an edge with your fingernail). And it's probably not going to stand up to wind if you want to use this outside -- go to an office supply store and spend 3 times as much if you want a heavier holder. I'm always amazed at what people expect for a lower-cost item like this. I think its fantastic, and it's just what I wanted. Love it!

11/10/24 - This is an initial product quality review for the Acrylic Sign Holder 8.5 x 11 Inch Vertical T Shape Display Stand Double-Sided Desktop Clear... I will add to this review in a couple of weeks with updates. I bought these to use in a busy retail environment. They significantly lower cost than competitive branded products, but that cost savings is apparent in the design. They are MUCH thinner (almost 1/2 the thickness) compared to other commercial grade sign holders I own. The acrylic is crystal clear once the protective film is removed. This protective film is also significantly thinner than other films used on competitors products and while it was a bit challenging to get started to remove, it did come off cleanly once I got a corner started. Just take it off SLOWLY or it will tear and you might have to start a new corner. The base seems sufficient to handle the sign, and it did not tip over as easily as I would have expected in a bump test. The sign holder disassembled and reassembled smoothly with minor resistance, which is ideal. Time will tell how well these will stand up to a commercial retail environment, however, I suspect one good drop from the sales counter to the floor and they'll be broken. WE SHALL SEE!
