I've been using this for quite some time now having bought it initially for one dog it actually does more for the other two. Short version is it works wonders for dandruff (seborrhoeic dermatitis) and as a calming shampoo for allergies leaving a strong smell and shiny, soft coat. Long version, I have three dogs, a beagle cross, a sprocker spaniel and a border collie with a medium length coat. The beagle cross suffers from pollen allergies and has permanently itchy skin that only steroids seem to help sadly and I've tried everything including this shampoo. It helps a bit but does a lot for her coat and turns her coarse fur into a lovely soft coat again. The border collie is only 1 but this is great when she has been rolling in things. The smell is a coal tar/sulphur smell but I love it so it works for us. Leaves her coat lovely and soft/shiny as well. The spaniel though, she has seborrhoeic dermatitis and ear problems from time to time so can be a very smelly pup. She also likes to swim, roll and generally get as filthy as she can. This shampoo is a MIRACLE for her! The smell, flaking, itching and dryness are completely gone after one wash. Her ears used to get crusty on the tips from trailing in everything and previous shampoos did nothing to combat that. This one is amazing and cleared it up in a few washes. Her coat feels soft, smooth and so so shiny we get comments all the time on it. Would highly recommend for any doggy dandruff issues based on our experience. BUY IT. BUY IT. BUY IT. Can’t believe how amazing this stuff is. My bulldog suffers with mange and would loose huge patches of fur left with nasty scabs. Flare ups happen mostly in allergies season. Each time has been a vet trip for steroids and shampoos all costing £100s in the end. So this time bring money tight I thought I’d look for online remedies and came across this shampoo. After the 1st bath all the scabs were gone and her patches were soothed, I thought Christ this stuff is actually okay! We are now on the 5th bath over a 3 week period and all her fur has more or less grown back perfectly! It seems to have taken all the irrational away for her aswell! I seriously can’t not stop recommending this shampoo!! It has saved us sooo much money and stressful vet trips! Truly been life changing for our girl! The smell is not the most pleasant so we pair it with a baby scent shampoo by bugalugs and it works a dream! Will never have to go to the vets for skin conditions ever again! 1000/10

This has saved me a huge vet bill!! I read the reviews left by others but was sceptical but thought id give it a go before spending a fortune at the vet and it has worked! We suspected she (6yo JRT) had mites and had scratched herself so much she broke skin in several places, ive used this along side some cream and it has completely taken the itch away and the scabs are healing, I 1st used it 3days ago and have today used it again following the directions and within 12hours of 1st use I noticed her stopping scratching, definatly worth the buy

I bought this out of sheer desperation, I have a pet bunny who I have been treating for suspected mite infection, vets have been useless and after 3 vet visits and still obviously distressed bunny with now sore feet and outter ear ,ie fur missing etc I decided Id try anything. The product says just for dogs, not safe for cats .. nothing about bunnys ...but am assuming due to strength of product and fact cats,bunnys etc lick themselves the manufacturer isnt going to recommend. so after careful consideration, I decided to dilute a bit and test snall area, I firstly do not suggest bathing a bunny, it can be dangerous and not required if nothing wronge with bunny. but am an experienced bunny owner, the rabbits personality and trust in me was good. the bunny was suffering before hand to extent I thought I would have to put it down if things didnt improve, plus had already been to vets 3 times. So I used a baby bath, dilited the product, kept awsy from eyes,nose,mouth etc....made sure rinsed after. I also sufficiently dried bunny, again bunny has my trust enough to use low setting dryer... With regards to product, the relief lifting of dead skin ie dandruff was immediate. The smell is an aquired one, but not unpleasant. I have never seen a mite actually on my bunny but have seen what could have been indicating factors ie pepper like specs of dirt, and almost invisable nit like shells? Its been a week since using the product, I am going to repeat one more time again diluring down possibly with a baby shampoo. Overall its a good product, very expensive and I will probably have the bottle for rest of year , unless I use it on myself! which I have and my scalp and hairs never been so shiney lol. For a dog I reckon its worth it as you easily get a few baths out of the bottle, for smaller animal etc bit expensive but like I said I have used it on myself and also to soak the combes,brushes etc. I reckon you could even wash there bedding in it too!!

Our dog had developed a very itchy coat in the height of the summer - lots of swimming in ponds etc., We believe he may of contracted some mite that you can't see with the naked eye.. Unfortunately, it got so bad over the long weekend that he caused a few bald patches on his coat after scratching so much. I read a few of the reviews on here, so I decided to give this shampoo a go. I can honestly say it worked a treat! I massaged and left the product on him for 10 mins, after showering him down first. He had the best night's sleep that night! I used it twice a week over the course of 3 weeks, and his fur grew back in that time. The only negative would be the strong smell (coaltar), personally, it didn't bother me, just reminded me of Vosene shampoo. I highly recommend this product. Pros: works instantly, worth the money, no vet bill

No doubt it is an expensive bottle of shampoo, but it really works. My dog had a bald spot above his eye and a few under his chin. Used twice a week for three weeks. Hair started growing back the second week, and now he's back to normal. So it's worth buying it. It smells OK, and he tolerated the waiting with on for 15 mins well. And he hates being washed, so was very surprised.

The best thing about SynergyLabs, for me and my Miniature Schnauzer, is their formulation. Billy Jr. has (like nearly all Schnauzers) Schnauzer Comedo Syndrome. These are little genetic-derived pimples (non-infectious or life-threatening...think, adolescent acne). Oddly enough, they don't have a remedy or cure for it. However, I think the tar inside of SynergyLabs shampoo keeps the syndrome manageable. Previously, I only used to bathe Billy, 1x every 2-3 weeks, as they advise online. That doesn't work for Schnauzers. The Miniature Schnauzer has a double coat'” a wiry topcoat, with a soft undercoat'” that requires frequent brushing, combing, and grooming to look its best. The breed sheds very little. For the show ring, some of the dog's coat is regularly 'stripped' by hand. So, bathing that little is like humans washing their hair 1x per 3-weeks. Yuk! The oil that builds up is the same in Billy Jr. That's why this shampoo, bathed 1-2x per week keeps everything under control. I've tried other shampoos (without the formulation SynLabs has) and it wasn't effective. That's why this is our second purchase. I can't say enough about how happy this Mini' dad is.

I am buying this shampoo for last 2 or 3 years! Really like it! Gives lots of foam, economical in usage, has nice smell as for me (medical).

We have a GSD who has had skin issues starting after puberty around ~2 years old, and the only thing that helps keep her comfortable in the Midwest's awful mold/spore/allergy seasons (spring, summer, fall) is a weekly bath. We've tried OTC meds, prescription meds, shots, special diets - EVERYTHING and nothing seemed to help. We started doing weekly baths (once every two weeks in the dead of winter) with this specific shampoo and are so impressed! Her skin is no longer red and irritated, it helps keep her oily skin and coat at bay, and she's not up half the night itching like before! We have even tried every combination of prescription shampoo, OTC shampoo and even other ones from this brand - and this one is hands down the best. The smell isn't our favorite (tar-y smell to it a little) but it mostly goes away after a day or two. Our dog is so much happier with clean skin, knows our bathing routine so makes it easy on us, and after we let the shampoo sit on her skin/coat for a minimum of 15 minutes, we are set for 7-10 days of a shiny coat, soft skin and no dermatitis! This shampoo has saved us from constantly going to the vet for treatments and further expenses. It took us a long time to finally land on a product that works well for our dog's skin and is cost effective. My local Walmart carries this shampoo as well, so in a pinch I have it no problem - but if your dog is running into similar issues, try this out and develop a good bathing/shampooing regimen for your dog! The trick is to definitely let the shampoo sit on the skin for a minimum 10 minutes and as an added bonus, wash their fur/hair/skin with a mild shampoo beforehand, so the "medication" portion of this shampoo can do it's job directly at the source - on the skin. We also dilute the shampoo, roughly 2-3 tablespoons for 16 ounces warm water (add water first, then shampoo to not create suds) and use THAT to shampoo our pup. It works great, ensures that all the remaining shampoo is rinsed off at the end, and you don't "overdue" it with the shampoo and waste any. Happy bathing!
