This worked great and is perfect for cooking over a campfire. I cooked venison and steak right over the fire and it held up really well. The best part is the swivel/swing feature—you can swing it from directly over the flames to pulling it out of the way, so you don’t have to reach into the fire to flip food or move the grate. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and makes campfire cooking a lot safer and more convenient. Bottom line: awesome design and works exactly as intended—highly recommend for camping.

Simply fantastic. Excellent quality. I turned the grate upside-down so that I could adjust the angle like an elbow, and so that it would form a natural "lip" to prevent me from losing food to the "fire tax" that happens whenever I fumble with my BBQ tongs. 😋 Works like a charm! The only "issue" I run into (if you can call it that) is that when I'm adjusting the height to raise the grate I have to be careful not to detach the top half of the pole from the base. I haven't dropped anything yet, and there appears to be a little hole where I could presumably attach a screw to tighten the two segments of the pole together, but I'm not sure what type of screw I should use there. Not really a big deal though, it's working "grate"! 😋

Overall a solid campfire grill — the swivel design is convenient and the stainless steel grate cooks well and holds up nicely. However, the one downfall worth knowing before you buy is that only the grate itself is stainless steel. The vertical rod that stakes into the ground is not, which means it's prone to rust with heavy outdoor use. This is especially important if you plan to use it at the beach. A friend of mine has an older version from the same company that is entirely stainless steel, and the difference is noticeable — salt air and salt water accelerate rust on the rod quickly. For inland camping it's less of an issue, but for coastal use I'd really want the full stainless construction. Great product overall, just wish they hadn't cut corners on the rod material.

I like how small it is to pack and travel with. It was really easy to set up. The metal is sturdy and didn’t melt while using over the fire. I love that it can swivel so when you’re not using it you can swing it away from the fire. Great for camping.

The concept of this product is good, but the execution is terrible. This grill comes in 4 pieces, the grill, the horizontal arm that goes on the grill, a vertical pole/rod the grill arm goes onto, and the vertical pole that goes into the ground. The grill plate itself seems very good, for the 1 time I was able to use it. The problem is with the 2 vertical poles/rods. They are made of very cheap and weak metal. The rod going into the ground got deformed and "mushroomed" the first time I hammered it into the ground, making it almost impossible to get the second vertical rod onto it. I was able to get it on, but then while I was cooking, the vertical rod that the grill arm attaches to expanded so much that I was unable to slide the grill up and down like intended. The grill was stuck at one level and could not get disassembled until it fully cooled.

Kinda flimsy. Returned it.

I like that it’s small and packable. The updated metal wing nut is nicer that the plastic predecessor. Just be mindful that it’s a bit warm. Use a rubber mallet to stake in the ground on hard dirt, to avoid bending. Otherwise it pushes in easily.

I love this product. The stainless still grill means I don’t have to worry about paint cooking off/needing to bring pans to use on it. Just set it at your preferred height over the coals and toss your food on.
