The last time I ordered this product, am on my last bag & product still within date (Dec 2019). Unlike these, each bag had a 'Not for Resale' sticker in a taped bundle. This latest shipment were simply bundled in a white plastic bag with the 'Not for Resale" on the same, not on each package.These came with an expiration date of Jan 6, 2020, less than 2.5 months before out of date (see pics). Had to give two bags away & will give another two as well, because our two cats can have only 4 treats per day per instructions by out veterinarian. I would had contacted Amazon as soon as I discovered this issue, the problem being I had given a bag to a relative for his cat & another to a neighbor, therefore wouldn't be entitled to a refund with two missing (didn't discover beforehand). This won't happen again!Next time I need a product like this, will purchase at a major & reputable online pet supplier. Sure I'll pay more, yet won't have to give away two-thirds of the product to keep it from being tossed. Would had been better off ordering two individual bags (after checking with Seller for date) versus a 6 pack with unknown expire date.Otherwise, my cats loves Feline Greenies Ocean Fresh Tuna Flavor treats. It's just unfortunate that I dealt with a Seller desperate to unload 'new old stock' on me. This isn't like ordering PC hardware, where a unused 4-5 year old HDD/SSD or other component are acceptable (at lower cost). Our pets, just as us humans, deserves fresh food, as they're members of our family & they depend on us to do what's right for their health and welfare. When shopping, am very conscious of dates, will always grab the package with the longest, be it fresh, packaged, or frozen.Assuming I had 20+ cats or working at a humane shelter, could had used all of these short dated bags, yet only with two, no way. Sellers of pet food/treats should has note expire date in description so that we can make an informed decision. This is nearly $20 thrown out the window, they'll not make it through two bags of this package.Normally I love to leave positive feedback to Amazon re-sellers & usually I do, sadly this time is an exception. Will blacklist this Seller from future purchases.

At one of our vet visits, the vet mentioned a build up on one cat's teeth. He said if we didn't do something about it, we'd have to start brushing the teeth (can you imagine trying to do that?!) or there would be serious issues. The vet did say that something we could try were feline greenies a few times a day. He said that often these dental treats make a real difference in the cat's oral health and that they were a good first step towards ensuring that our cat would have great teeth for years to come. That night we went out and bought some greenies. We tried a few flavors, but our cat's favorite is the chicken. He comes running when he hears the bag coming out. We gave a few greenie treats per day hoping it would make a difference. At our next visit about six months later, our vet was really impressed with the improvement in our cat's teeth. It was great to know that this lived up to its promise of helping their teeth. And it is even better that it is a treat our cat loves so he comes running for them. We have continued use of the greenies and our cat and his teeth are grateful for it. This is a great product that your cat will love and actually has a positive benefit. I highly recommend them.

I saw a previous review describe these as "total cat crack," and I will second that. Not sure if these are actually providing any real dental benefits to my cats, because they love these treats so much that they tend to "Hoover" them vs. actually chewing. My cats are so addicted to these treats that they will continuously paw at the cabinet where I keep the bag, hoping for some more. For the sake of peace in the kitty household, I guess I'll be buying more Greenies for them soon.

Our cats adore these & we've seen no adverse effects at all: no upset tummies, no litter box nastiness and the treats aren't 'hot' so they don't get the cats all excitable. We do NOT use the 'feeding guidelines' on the package as they're somewhat overstated: our healthy-weight 24-pound neutered male Maine Coon would be getting ~30 of these a day if we followed package guidelines - that's crazy.We use these for "good cat" moments, such as taking one's pill without maiming mommy, and every night before bedtime to indicate its time to settle down for the night. We also use them to enforce human rules when the cats are aggressing by requiring the cats to accept treats individually in a group setting, which is modestly successful … or they're humoring us to get treats. Most likely the latter! ;)Peace.

We received a package of these as a gift and our cat loved them. I added them to her normal feeding, rather than as separate treats. Princess would eat them first. In addition, her overall appetite improved, consuming more of the dry feline k/d.After reading some of the scary reviews, I was hesitant to buy more. At the same time, I found only good reports. Also, there seems to be a kind of folk myth about the ingredients (which have changed over time as well), such as whether there are sugars.Despite all of that, I went for a six-pack. But I use them sparingly (2 per feeding, twice daily). Since the 18-year-old princess is on other medications, there is a tendency to vomit after being given pills. I see no increase as the result of greenies and they continue to be what she seeks first in her feedings, then pacing her visits to the food dish thereafter. I did mention her attraction to Greenies at the veterinary, and we'll see whether her annual check-up confirms that she is as healthy with them as it appears.
