I've fly fished for 25+ years and fished all sorts of types of flies from bulk ones bought off eBay to high-end flies from specialty shops. These flies are amazingly nice and very well tied. Hackle lengths are perfect and the materials seem top notch. Came individually boxed and labeled. You will not be disappointed with these flies.

Impressed with the quality. I tie my own flies and can have difficulty with standing wings up evenly, probably the hardest challenge. Wings on these are all perfect, as is each other aspect. Real good deal for the money, especially when I'm short on time and need flies. And also because good Metz neck hackle can be real expensive, lol.

Awesome!!! I just received these yesterday. After years away from fly fishing and tying, and recently moving to Maine, I decided to order a bunch of fly fishing gear to chase down some brookies. I thought I could tie pretty good flies back in the day and had every intention of going that route after I geared up, but after seeing these flies and the cost to get them, I would rather spend my time fishing than tying. All the flies came in tiny cardboard boxes, 3 to a box. None were crushed and all were perfect. Hackle and tail length, spot on. Dubbing and wings, perfect. I'm pretty picky when it comes to these things and was fully expecting just "okay" flies. These are exactly what I was looking for and have no doubt they will work out great. Another thing, I've only written one other review in my life for another product I enjoyed. I reeeally have to like something to do that!

I like the variety and identification card.

Nice selection of basic flies. If you've been trout fishing for any length of time, you probably already have most of them...but it was a great way for me to build out a new fly box.The one thing to note is the flies are a little on the big side for the North East. Lots of 12-16, which are totally usable, but if you're mainly fishing eastern streams... you'll definitely want to supplement with some smaller 18-24 dries as well.

If you're looking for something to cover the basic bases of dry fly fishing this is what you need, also when establishing a dry fly box this is a great way to start. I've found the quality is up to par and the value for money is above and beyond store bought products.

I was VERY impressed with the quality of these flies. They are very well made and I would highly recommend them!
