Due to health issue I needed to leave my front door unlocked but wanted an alarm if someone opened the door. I put this on front storm door. A friend who's habit is to just walk in, not ring door bell, came over and when this thing went off I could hear it in the back of the house. Scared her, she stood on the porch screaming as it was loud and if she had shut the door it would have stopped..... Served the purpose. I looked at a lot of these type alarms but found this one was easiest to install as I did. The smaller magnetic piece with this device could stick to the door yet still be close enough to the door jam to work the alarm. There are many settings which was also helpful because I set it to stop once the door was closed again.

Bought this alarm to install on the two patio doors leading to my pool. Unfortunately this alarm is not UL2017 Compliant and you will not pass a Final Pool inspection if you ever need one.

It works great. Only thing is they need to make the programming instructions easier and with larger print.

I ordered this for my back door because my dog can open the door by herself. Now I know to shut the door because the beeping lets me know she has let herself back in the house. Now if I can figure out how to teach her to shut the door because she would. She is one smart flat coated retriever. Very pleased with the product. Would be great as an alarm to let you know a toddler or senior has opened the door.

Worked for a few days. Now it doesn’t alert. The piece that goes on the door fell off the wall. Adheres to the wall and door by cheap sticker. Replaced it with the one from the other alarm. Now it doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time.

Could this alarm be controlled with another remote that doesn't come with. I had mines on the door. I have it on the door programmed alarm when open. I open the door it alarmed perfect. I'm at the door of my apartment complex where I could hear it if my door was open. It didn't alarm I come home open the door and the alarm doesn't go off. Usually if press it unlock it beeps. If I press it on it beeps. It did absolutely nothing. Could another remote be programmed and open my alarm?

I love this product.Adjustable volume level.Very easy to install with adhesive tape or screws which is included.Great buy for the price.

This is a completely useless item. Don't waste your money. I believed the reviews and got it. Within less than 2 months, it stopped working. It does not ring when door is open or closed regardless of how many adjustments we did. It rings when the door is opened once in a while and once in a while, it rings when the door is closed. Nothing consistent. This item is not dependable. Buy something else. I tried returning it after 30 day period through amazon customer service. They charged me a restocking fee.
