Miki folding knife Japanese SLD-Magic Steel Blade
High Quality all the way, Ergonomics are 5-star. Very comfortable to use, Craftsmanship is great! SLD-Magic Steel is supposedly higher grade but similar to D2 steel. This blade is very sharp right out of the box. the Harmon edge looks very cool as well. Smooth ball bearings on all the Miki Knives. I own all 3 basic versions. This Japanese steel-bladed one. The other two are Japanese style straight blade Miki D2 steel and the Samuria Miki D2 steel. Nice G10 on all of them. I enjoy all 3 of them. In spite of not being a big fan of front flippers. I highly recommend all of these Miki Knives. Great value for your money. D.

A very well built beauty
Very impressed with this knife! One of the easiest front-flippers I have in my large collection. The ball bearing action is ultra smooth to deploy and close the blade. Blade is very sharp and quite beautiful. Well centered when closed. G10 handle in a comfortable neutral shape for forward or reverse grip. Liner lock is very secured and easy to reach. Pocket clip is very well done, for right-handed tip up carry. I am overall very satisfied with this product - it has met every expectation.

Smooth and high quality
This really is an excellent knife for the money. Action is buttery smooth, smoother than some of my ZT and Spydercos. Edge is sharp but could be better. Only gripe is the handle is quite heavy and takes more fine motor skills to deploy so getting it out in an emergency may be a challenge. Other than that, I’ve been carrying it daily and enjoying it.

Bang for the buck!
This isn’t a long term use review, but rather a first impressions. Awesome knife. Fit and finish is highly refined. G-10 is nicely chamfered. Liners are lightened. Clip is strong, and works well. First front flipper, so I probably just suck at using it, but functions just fine. The blade is san mai, and laser sharp. Its sweeping belly rises to a point that is low enough for pull cuts, and very practical. Similar to higonokami, and in my experience, they are very useful knives. The liner lock is sturdy, and engages positively, leaving the blade rock solid when in open position. Access to the lock bar is good. The tip isn’t overly fine, and looks pretty durable. Everything about this knife screams $120 to $150 price range. This knife company needs more recognition, but get them while they’re cheap, because if people catch on, they could go up in price. Great job Miki! Get one!!!

Added to collection. Carried for several days. For me I didn't care for opening. But very well made, great quality and sharp for price.

Beautiful knife
The San Mai steal is beautiful! I do wish they had did a short acid dip to help accentuate the pattern. Very smooth, high-quality blade. But does take some skill to use the front flipper.
