Please read, I hope it helps you make a decision
I purchased 2 of these heaters I must say I was kinda worried I was wasting my money but I wish I would have know of these heaters many years ago ! They work really well, I installed one in my enclosed cargo storage trailer and the other in my Rv in the under belly compartment, It was cold last night down in the single digits my furnace in my Rv never ran, I didn’t freeze up and the floors were warm this morning !! Very impressive, also it was on the lowers setting and burned very little fuel. I would highly recommend these for there value, size, durability, and the remote control is very easy to understand and control. I done hours of research on so many different options and brands of these heaters and I’m so glad I went with the LF Bros brand !

Great piece of kit , just read below about control panel & outdoor use advice
I bought this for my Roof Top tent,it works fantastic and I love it , great on fuel economy and very low on power usage , however as an FYI , realised it was the "house" version and therefore the control panel is on the top , so had a couple of instances in heavy rain (had this shipped to West of Ireland so heavy rain nornal lol ) and it cut out as moisture got in to control oanel (it dried out in couple of hours in heat ) this was my error in purchasing correct version, but solved it by finding a cover to sit over control panel when left outside and remote Bluetooth for still works fine. Used this alot througgt the last few months winter camping and I love it - love that you can also see the fuel level on side, easy to fill etc. The exhaust is a screw on , which I like as its definitely more of a secure fit. I bought a Carbon Monoxide alarm for safety for inside tent (please do this people as its standard practice and will save a life ) overall great quiet product without the Clicking. The hose pipe for the heat is short so I purchased a longer one to reach up to tent at around $15 - overall well made and solid , and worthwhile purchase

Great heater!
Four star review because I believe the company expects the air intake to use indoor air of what ever your heating and the heater would then heat that air. This heater doesn’t have a dedicated air intake that you’d run outside of what ever you are heating. But this is an easy work around. The heater hose that’s included with the heater is for the heated air. It comes with a deflector or adjustable vent so you can point which way you want the heated air to go. I used that heater hose on the back where the fresh air intake is. The grill will pop off the back on the fresh air intake and it will allow you to hook up the 3in duct hose to it. Then run that outside with your exhaust and your all set. I’m sure on some structures or vans, motor homes, campers etc, it would be fine just using the I door air for intake. I’m using this in a small cabin and I didn’t want to take any chances. So I ran the intake outside for fresh air. My next issue with this heater was the muffler and exhaust. They want you to hook the muffler straight to the unit then the exhaust pipe after. This isn’t ideal nor is it like every other diesel heater that I looked at. However the exhaust pipe will not fit over the flange coming out of the heater. So you have to install the muffler first then the pipe after. That wasn’t going to work for my install so I purchased a diesel heater exhaust elbow and that fixed the issue. I was able to run the exhaust like so, elbow, pipe then muffler. The fuel pump isn’t loud at all as you see people complain about sometimes in diesel heater reviews. You can’t hear the pump once the heater is running. Has adjustable power and temp control. Also comes with a wireless remote. If you get to hot, hit the off button on the remote and the heater will go into shutdown mode. Too cold? Hit the on button and it fires right up. After the exhaust and air intake issues were worked out the heater works awesome. It’s easy to operate and it kicks out the hot air! I feel like this heater is way better quality than some of the other ones out there. The company is super responsive to any questions you have as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I needed or wanted one.

I had been looking for a diesel heater for our camper trailer for sometime. Originally was looking to purchase and install one internally, just wasn't looking forward to routing exhausts and fuel lines and the rest. Then this popped up for me, and I saw a review of someone just poking the air outlet in under the canvas of their camper. And, for me, that was a brilliant idea. Being able to keep the entire unit outside the living area is a plus for me, significantly reduces the risk of breathing combustion fumes in. As for this little heater; the reviews were good, both on amazon and from further research. Chinese unit, but reviewed as well made and effective. And it lived up to that for sure. The box was quality. The packing was neat and orderly. The unit is insanely good looking, and feels worth more than it costs. It also works extremely well. I replaced the included power cables with 25amp twin core wire and a merit plug rated to 15amps, around 2 meters long. The unit tops out just shy of 10amps current draw on start up. Once it's up and running the power usage is reduced by half or more depending on fan speed. Even on low fan speed, the heat output is awesome. It took only a few moments for it to noticeably heat up the interior of our dual fold camper on a 1 degree morning. Could see steam rising off the canvas from outside, looked like we'd elected a new pope. I did have to redo all the wiring in said camper to ensure it could run, as it was going into low voltage shut down, so worth considering if your current wiring is up to task. It can run on 240v with the included power brick, using the original ring terminal wiring included. I haven't used the included exhaust, I don't find it to be all that loud without it. And I've also bought new ducting, long lengths, to use with it. However, it did have enough out of the box to be able to use it easy enough. Straight up; Great little unit if you want a powerful standalone unit that is cost effective in both purchase and running costs.

My use case is likely different than other folks, but the ultimate goal - heat. I needed a portable heater (ok) to use remotely (ok) to provide heat to my helicopter transmission bay and cabin in the morning to warm up the cold soaked components. I needed the unit to heat both areas at the same time, and to do it quickly while not creating a risk of fire. I also needed the unit to heat my remote camp sleeping area throughout the night, and during the day if we ended up getting weathered out. I ended up purchasing 3" silicon automotive racecar ducting, a 3" Y valve to direct the heat to my intended target areas on the aircraft. At -25°C this little unit not only kept me warm all night, but after about an hour on the machine, had the oil temperatures up into the green, and the computers warm and ready. The real test was always that might flight helmet padding had softened up, and were warm to the touch. A treat when flying in these colder conditions. For full transparency, I did have small buddy heaters running all night, but for anyone in industry, these on their own are generally not enough at these lower temps. Generally companies use large heaters to get these results, and when operating remotely you have to adjust your thinking. The fact that these tiny little heaters can provide this level of reliable heating is incredible. One tank of Jet Fuel ran all night heating my sleeping area, with plenty of fuel remaining to warm up the machine. Never once did it run dry, and generally had 1/4 tank still in reserve after both tasks were completed. I simply used my fuel sample from the previous day to top it back up! Perfect! I have been using this heater for two winters, zero hiccups.

Excellent unit. Heats very well, runs great. No leaks or smell from gas cap. I can’t hear the fuel pump once it’s running. Just a little noise while it’s starting up.

Love this, recently bought a bush block and we planned to camp there at settlement weekend. Weather was forecast for 0 degrees overnight. Did fair bit of quickish research, wanted to buy a simple reasonable quality heater, never used before so bought this one. Lives up to the reviews. Using it with a 1500w rechargeable battery and is a dream. I need to set something up for rain coverage outside the 6m bell tent but been lucky with weather so far. I put it on about an hour before bed and it’s nice to go into a comfortably warm space to get into bed. Yep, not true brutal camping but I’m not hardcore. My old dog appreciates it too. I leave it on for cpl hours and turn it back on before getting out of bed in the morning. Seems I get about 3 hours for 1 litre diesel on setting 1.5 to 3 usually. Not too loud but can definitely hear it so detracts from wildlife but that’s the sacrifice. The remote control is great but I’d like to be able to see what level it’s on from bed. My fuel gauge indicates it’s empty but it’s full, still works though. I don’t really understand the screen but I haven’t read the book. Definitely recommend, great value, just need a 12v power source and diesel. I also wrapped my duct into the tent in an oven mitt, don’t know if necessary but I’m bit paranoid about it getting hot, doesn’t seem to though.

Had for a year now, have not used a ton but it works great, uses less fuel than propane furnace and produces drier heat. I keep it in my truck when working northern Alberta incase of breakdowns and its -40 celsius out so I don't die while waiting for a tow. Still functional one year later, excellent product.
