It came with the blade stained and worpet
Nice looking knife on web page did not look at all like the pictures though blade came stained and worpet it is sharp handle is so dark you can't see the blue like in add.i was really looking forward to seeing it and handling it but I spent 2 hours on cleaning up the stained blade looks ok now except for the worp and dark handle.i would send it back but I got time in it and it is a hassle to send it back and wait for another one to come.all most always get great products from Amazon I guess it was my turn to get a lemon.

very nice for hunting
This knife is sharp which makes it great for hunting or fishing. I like to fish and it works very well in gutting a fish and for slicing. This is a great gift for a loved one who hunts, or fish. They will appreciate the hook of it and the sharpness.

NICE HANDLE, NICE SHEATH, SLIGHTLY COURSE BLADE THAT'S QUITE SHARP
I’m not a hunter. I’m not a camper. But I have, on occasion, been persuaded by my family to cook for them on a camping trip. I’m one of those people who likes being prepared for emergencies. So I set out to buy a knife for being out in the woods.Because I know nothing, the first thing I had to look up about his knife was “EDC.” Turns out an EDC bull cutter knife is a type of knife that is specifically designed for everyday carry (EDC). It’s typically small, lightweight, and easy to carry and use. They’re also typically very sharp, making them ideal for a variety of tasks, such as cutting rope, opening boxes, and preparing food.Just what I needed. Yes, this knife is quite sharp. Not in the way my premium kitchen knives are scalpel-sharp. But plenty sharp, with a thick, slightly course blade, that could do a lot of damage. I find the knife very comfortable to hold. The handle is black, gray, and blue, in waves — a pattern that I find very attractive. The sheath is leather, meant to be worn on a belt, with a pattern on one side of the sheath, and smooth on the other. I like this knife, and I’m very glad I got it. The price seems reasonable to me, but then again, this is my first EDC bull cutter knife.[While researching this type of knife I came across some mentions of using this knife for bull castrations. Well that was disturbing! So I researched further. Turns out (I hope) that “Bull Cutter” is a misnomer. Many EDC bull cutter knives have a drop point blade, which is a type of blade that is known for its strength and durability. The drop point blade is shaped like a teardrop, with a wide blade that tapers to a point. This shape makes the blade ideal for cutting through tough material — like a bull. I hope that’s true.I do have one more thing to mention. The Amazon site says the “country of origin” of this knife is America. That’s hard to believe given what the box says on the side. Please see photo.]

Knife With Leather Sheath
This knife arrives in a branded cardboard box with just the knife and sheath inside. The knife is wrapped in plastic and definitely feels oiled out of the box.The design on each side is different from each other as well as, looking through reviews, each knife is different from others. This makes me more confidant that it really is handmade and each acid etching truly is unique to each blade. The designs clearly have a texture to them which also means this is really etched somehow and not just a design printed on the blade. The etching also created lines across the spine which almost looks like delaminations but I don't think that is the case.As for the sharpness, it really isn't razor sharp but it's sharp enough and can be sharpened. The sheath is pretty well made on mine with no stitching issues and the thickness of the leather is enough to keep it safe but also not thick enough to not be able to use it with a belt. The design is only on one side of the sheath.Overall, its a great knife with an alright sheath. The etching seems unique per blade and even per side which lets me think that each are actually hand made and that it's not just a design printing on them. My blade didn't come that sharp but it can be sharped, hopefully without destroying some of the patterns.

Save your money
Upon unboxing this knife,1. the leather sheath was scratched/cut on the outside.2. There is only a pattern on one side.3. The pattern shown was for right hand rear carry and this one is left hand.4. Leather is thin and flimsy at best, difficult to resheath.5. Stitching on sheath is cut in 2 places and unraveling ( I've been wearing it for 5 minutes...)6. Knife has an evident warp to the left.7. Not for sure but fairly positive there is a delamination along the spine of the blade.8. Knife is not sharp, not even close to razor sharp9. Overall not impressed with this knife, bought it because it was on sale and I've been looking for a diagonal carry damascus knife for a while nowAdvice: save your money for a better knife

A Rugged Skinning Knife
The 8inch knife fits comfortably inside the leather sheath. There is a small imprint of 'Huntlux' on the outside of the sheath on the side with patterns on it. The other side of the sheath has no visible print or patterns. Take notice there are openings for a belt or strap to fit through the leather sheath. The blade itself is almost exactly 4inches with patterns on both sides. My knife that arrived does appear sharp, but if it wasn't, nothing a sharpener couldn't resolve. Wooden handle has a rugged texture with the indentations pattern on it. I can say that it would be helpful to wear gloves if using this repeatedly as I found some discomfort holding onto the handle with my bare hand.Overall, this is a good camping, cutting, bushcrafting knife to have. It is only 8inches in length and will not get in the way. The blade is fairly thick and has some weight to it. My only gripe is the comfort of the wooden handle would be 3-stars out of five. Everything else from sharpness, appearance, leather sheath, and size, would be 4-stars.
